Phillies made two cuts today optioning David Buchanan and Alec Asher to Triple-A Lehigh Valley. (Matt Breen on Philly.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Neither of these cuts are surprises. Asher, in particular, struggled the spring posting a rough 7.88 ERA, while Buchanan posted a pedestrian 4.50 ERA. Both can be left on the wire, as neither pitcher looks poised to do anything more than make occasional spot starts.
