Taylor Jungmann tossed four innings of shutout ball against the Texas Rangers in Cactus League play on Thursday night. He allowed one hit, one walk and struck out three batters.
Fantasy Impact:
Jungmann is now 1-1 with a 1.08 ERA, an 0.84 WHIP and eight strikeouts in eight and one-thirds innings in Spring Training this year. By no means should that predict the results of the upcoming season, but it is a very good sign for his fantasy stock. He is currently worth a look in deep 15-team leagues and NL-only formats.
