The Braves made the deal in an attempt to add depth to its bullpen, specifically left-handed depth. This ensures that O'Flaherty will be on the 25-man roster when camp breaks for the regular season.
Fantasy Impact:
O'Flaherty has had success with the Braves before and the team is hoping he can regain the form he had prior to having Tommy John surgery in 2014. It is a gamble but the team is pretty desperate.
