Chris Ivory expects to be the Jets' short-yardage back

Jets running back Chris Ivory is the early favourite to be the team's goal line specialist, and take over the reigns at running back in short-yardage situations. "If we were playing tomorrow, Chris Ivory would be the would be on the goal line, obviously." Jets running back coach Anthony Lynn said, via the New York Daily News. (Sports Illustrated)
Fantasy Impact:
This news would suggest that Chris Johnson is going to be the starting running back for Gang Green, and harms Ivory's status as an RB3/4 at best. For him to be an effective fantasy player, he's going to have to see a lot of these goal line attempts, which seems unlikely in a subpar offense. However, this may not be great news for Johnson owners as well, because this could limit the number of touchdowns he scores.
