Brown showing off speed early in second preseason game

by Eric McQuillen | Sat, Aug 16th 9:25pm EDT

Early in the first quarter, Brown caught a short pass from Roethlisberger and took it to the house for a 76 yard score as he torched the Bills secondary. He ended his night with two catches on two targets, and 93 total yards with his score. (Yahoo)

Fantasy Impact:

Brown's night was short and sweet, but he's continuing to be Mr. Reliable for Ben Roethlisberger. Perhaps overshadowed by Mike Wallace during his years in Pittsburgh, Brown never was openly praised for his speed, but he brought it tonight. Brown is currently ranked as the ninth best WR in FantasyPros' Expert Consensus Rankings (ECR). Brown seems to not get the respect like some of the flashier guys (AJ Green, Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffery to name a few), but he is an absolute stud WR1 and should be drafted in any format with absolute confidence.
