Wes Welker progressing nicely through concussion protocols

Coach John Fox says that Wes Welker is doing "fantastic" in progressing through the NFL protocols for those who have a concussion. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This is great news for those who have drafted Welker and were mildly panicking with the devastating news of yet another concussion for him. Welker might defy the odds and play in the first game on September 7th. If you are a Welker owner, then stash Cody Latimer for eventual use this season. Latimer is better than Andre Caldwell, and not many expect Welker to last through the 2014 campaign.
