Running back Chris Johnson played well and helped the New York Jets to a Week 1 victory over the Oakland Raiders. Johnson rushed for 68 yards on 13 carries, and caught five passes for 23 yards and a touchdown. (NFL.com)
Fantasy Impact:
If this Week 1 game is anything to go by, then Johnson could become a great value fantasy pick with an average draft position of 25 among running backs. He was a factor in both the passing game and the running game, and showed that even while competing for time with Chris Ivory and Bilal Powell, he can still find the end zone. Johnson should be considered a starter for the time being.
