Rex Ryan believes Eric Decker will face Lions

by Tom Woods | Thu, Sep 25th 7:46am EDT

Although Eric Decker didn't practice Wednesday, Rex Ryan believes his top receiver will be healthy enough to play against the Lions. "He's a durable guy and I think he's going to do whatever it takes to play," Ryan said of Decker, who was forced to leave Monday night's loss to the Bears because of tightness in his right hamstring. "I'm confident, I'm hopeful that he'll play. But again we'll see as it goes during the week." Decker, who injured the hamstring against the Packers in Week 2, was a game-time decision Monday. He was activated, but he played only 12 snaps and caught one pass for 19 yards. (Newsday)

Fantasy Impact:

With a lot of players on bye week this week, it may be a relief to Decker owners that he could still be available to play on Sunday. However, they should proceed with caution when starting Decker, because he could have a repeat of the Bears game on Monday when he left the game halfway through.
