Michael Floyd shut down in Week 5

by Riley Moore | Sun, Oct 5th 8:33pm EDT

Michael Floyd caught only one pass for 7 yards in Arizona's Week 5 matchup against the Denver Broncos.

Fantasy Impact:

After a hot start to the season, Floyd has cooled off. So far this season he has either been explosive, producing 100 yard games, or invisible, catching only one pass. Floyd's inconsistency is maddening, but he's still worth sticking with as a WR2 or WR3 in deep leagues due to his big play threat. His stock will dramatically increase if Carson Palmer (shoulder) returns to action in Week 6, but will drastically fall if both Palmer and Drew Stanton (concussion) are unable to play, leaving him to catch passes from rookie Logan Thomas.
