DeMarco Murray keeps rolling

DeMarco Murray continues to impress, going over 100 yards rushing for the record 8th straight game to begin the 2014 season. (Yahoo)

Fantasy Impact:

A 51-yard rush in the third quarter put Murray over the century mark for the game, he finished with 141 rushing yards, and he added 80 receiving yards to have his first game this season where he was over 200 yards from scrimmage. Amazingly, Murray accelerated his pace on the yards from scrimmage record, as he is now on pace for 2586 yards but he did not score, only the second time this season that Murray was held out of the end zone. The 51 yard run that sent Murray over 100 yards is the longest run that Murray has had all year and his 9.6 yards per touch was the second best mark of his career, only bettered in his 253 yard rushing performance in 2011. Arizona has the third ranked defense against the run this year, but Murray's performance this year is truly unblemished. He may not be the top running back option this week, but remember that he was still able to get nearly 20 points on the road versus the outstanding Seahawks defense. Looking beyond Week 9, Murray owners should be thrilled to see Jacksonville before the Week 11 bye and New York on the schedule after the bye.
