Alex Smith is not a flashy quarterback but is a great game manager. Since week two, Smith has only turned the ball over twice. Any turnovers the Broncos can create will go a long way in changing the outcome of the game. (The Denver Post)
Fantasy Impact:
Alex Smith typically does not put up the numbers a typical QB1 does. The offense the Chiefs run under coach Andy Reid doesn't allow for it most of the time and they have a tough match up against the Denver Broncos in Week 13. In a game that the Chiefs may have to keep pace with the Broncos offense, Alex Smith is a decent QB2 option in two quarterback leagues though.
