Since 2006, Philip Rivers first season as a starter, he has a career 30-6 record. He, in that same time span, has tossed 66 touchdowns to just 20 interceptions. (Toronto Sun)
Fantasy Impact:
Sunday will be Rivers first December challenge. He and the Chargers take on the Patriots who will be fired up after the Packers ended their seven game winning streak in Week 13. The Patriots defense has allowed the 16th most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks, but has been better as of late. Rivers will face a tough challenge against DBs Darrelle Revis and Brandon Browner. Look for this match up to be high scoring though and expect Rivers to be a solid QB1 for Week 14.
