Russell Wilson amongst the highest scoring QBs of Week 14

by Brian Tesch | Steelers Correspondent | Sun, Dec 7th 10:53pm EST

Russell Wilson went 22 for 37 through the air for 263 yards and two touchdowns and chipped in 48 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.

Fantasy Impact:

Wilson scored from 26 yards out on one of the prettiest read-options you'll see this year, and was able to find wide-open Marshawn Lynch, and Doug Baldwin on his two touchdown throws. While he pitched a clean sheet and avoided turnovers, he had a potential pick-six clang off the hands of Malcom Jenkins, and exposed himself to potential fumble-forcing hits on many of his rushes. It was largely a masterful performance under duress by the former Badger, as Philadelphia had a shot to more than double their two sack total, but Wilson deftly avoided nearly all rushes and managed throw-away's or found targets scampering free. Wilson does not have a warm and fuzzy schedule the rest of the way, but he has firmly planted his flag amongst the mid-tier QB1s.
