Joique Bell undergoes achilles clean-up surgery

Detroit Lions' running back Joique Bell underwent what's being called a minor "clean-up surgery" on his achilles tendon last week. An injury which first appeared on the injury report in Week 3, but popped up again in Week 17, but one that didn't force Bell to miss any time. (Detroit Free Press)
Fantasy Impact:
Despite the injury, Bell led the Lions with 860 yards rushing in 15 games this year, although he did miss one game due to a concussion. Bell is expected to return in time for organized off-season workouts, and should continue to lead the Detroit backfield in touches next season.
