Bruce Arians seeks more 'consistency' from Michael Floyd

by Brian Tesch | Tue, Apr 28th 12:47pm EDT

When asked about Michael Floyd, head coach Bruce Arians doled out some backhanded praise, stating “He still needs to hit a consistency level,” Arians said. “He’s a 1,000-yard player. He should have had 1,000 easily. But there were some balls we expect him to come down with and he didn’t come down with and that’s what is holding him down from being elite.” (Fox Sports)

Fantasy Impact:

The Cardinals have until May 3rd to determine whether they will pick up Floyd's fifth year option, which if I had to bet on it, they will pick up. Improved QB play should do wonders for Floyd's consistency woes, and if you can stomach the downside, he represents a tremendous value at his current valuation (FantasyPros #65 overall player, 22nd WR).
