George Fant lands on PUP list

The Jets announced that OT George Fant will begin training camp on the physically unable to perform list. (The Jets)
Fantasy Impact:
George Fant was widely viewed as a solid NFL swing-tackle going into the 2021 season, but was forced into the starting lineup after Mekhi Becton suffered a season-ending knee injury in Week 1. Fant went on to have a breakout season. He only gave up one sack through 15 starts and ended up grading out as one of the best pass-blocking tackles in football. Fant vs Becton will be an interesting competition to keep an eye on for the left tackle spot. For now, the competition will be put on hold as both players are set to begin training camp on the PUP list.
