Eddie Royal and Jay Cutler hope to find chemistry from 2008

by Michael Vincent | Wed, Jun 24th 1:33am EDT

2008 was Cutler's last year in Denver and Eddie Royal's rookie year. Both saw their most productive seasons. Royal's rookie campaign saw him catching 91 passes for 980 yards and five touchdowns. Cutler also made the Pro Bowl for the first and only time of his career, throwing for a career-high 4,526 yards. (Jeff Dickerson, ESPN)

Fantasy Impact:

Eddie Royal currently projects as the 90th ranked WR in standard scoring, and 87th in PPR. Neither ranking is worthy of using a draft pick on Royal. He will not see the targets he needs to be productive as he will be 5th on the pecking order behind Matt Forte, Alshon Jeffery, Martellus Bennett, and rookie Kevin White. Only an injury or becoming Cutler's built in security blanket will add value to Royal's fantasy status. He will be a top pick off of the waiver wire.
