Nathan Peterman released by Bears ahead of TNF

The Chicago Bears are releasing QB Nathan Peterman ahead of their Thursday night matchup, leaving them with two signal callers on their active roster. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Reports came out recently that QB Tyson Bagent had won the QB2 job, which was also the belief post-preseason. Peterman has been released three times by the Bears in the last month and a half, meaning he's been the one to get cut when the team needs to do roster gymnastics — this time so the Bears can activate OL Teven Jenkins. It's possible he will re-sign later or sign with the practice squad soon.
