David Fales impresses in preseason finale

by Jake Perper | Thu, Sep 3rd 11:52pm EDT

Second-year QB David Fales finished with a passer rating of 134.0 as he completed 14-18 of his throws for 131 yards and two TD's in Thursday night's 24-0 win over Cleveland. He also had one scramble for six yards.

Fantasy Impact:

Fales is vying for the No. 3 QB job behind Jay Cutler and Jimmy Clausen. However, the Bears claimed Zac Dysert off waivers from Denver this week. Dysert came in late on Thursday completing just 1-4 pass attempts for nine yards. It remains to be seen who the Bears keep as their No. 3 QB. With Clausen in concussion protocol they will likely need that third guy to open season.
