Smith will look to lead the Chiefs offense in a Week 1 matchup on the road against the Houston Texans. The Texans allowed the 9th fewest passing yards last season with a defense led by J.J. Watt.
Fantasy Impact:
Smith looks like he will have a full complement of weapons at this disposal on Sunday, including Travis Kelce who has been practicing this week. Even with the health on offensive, Smith and Chiefs might have a hard time putting points on the board against a good Texans defense. Smith is currently ranked as the 25th quarterback by our Expert Consensus Rankings (ECR) and should likely not be staring for your fantasy team this week.
