Arian Foster feels good, thinks he has a chance to play on Sunday

by Mike Werner | Sat, Oct 3rd 12:23am EDT

"I feel like I have a chance. So, it just depends how it feels Sunday" we're the words expressed by Arian Foster today in regards to his availability for Sunday's tilt against the Falcons. Foster also mentioned thoughts from the doctor who performed surgery on his groin, saying "the best rehab is actually getting out there and playing." (Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle)

Fantasy Impact:

It's obvious at this point that Foster is chomping at the bit to play. He's been officially "limited" in practice this week, but stated differently today, "I never really understood what limited meant. I understand when you’re first coming back, I guess, you don’t want to do all the drills, but I’m a full participant in all the practices." The Texans have a quick turn around after this week, going to Indianapolis for Thursday Night Football. That'll also be taken into consideration when evaluating Foster's game day status, as all four AFC South teams are currently 1-2. The Falcons currently give up the most fantasy point per game to the running back position this season, and Alfred Blue had 31 rushes for 139 yards and a touchdown last week against the Bucs. If Foster does suit up this week, fantasy owners have to play him, but Alfred Blue will surely receive a lot of looks, and would be the preferred DFS gamble if you're choosing a Texans running back. We'll all be waiting for the inactive list Sunday morning.
