Paltry first-half defense once again ruins Dolphins’ day

by Reginald James | Dolphins Correspondent | Sun, Oct 4th 1:23pm EDT

Last week the Bills had amassed a total of 270 yards, 192 from passing, and 27 points by halftime. On Sunday against the Jets that total was 282 yards, 20 points. After today, opposing teams have scored 97-34 in the first half against the Dolphins. Chris Ivory (89) and Ryan Fitzpatrick (21) were responsible for a combined 110 first-half rushing yards. The Jets ended the day with 425 combined yards, 207 on the ground, 218 through the air.

Fantasy Impact:

The Dolphins have the fewest knock-downs and hurries in the NFL, and only three interceptions. You can probably find the Dolphins D/ST at Big Lots at this point.
