Alex Smith throws for 386 yards in Chiefs loss

Smith completed 31-of-45 passes for 386 in a 36-21 loss to the Bengals. However, he was unable to get the Chiefs in the end zone, throwing zero touchdown passes and no interceptions. Smith also rushed five times for 25 yards.
Fantasy Impact:
For the second straight week the Chiefs were trailing most of the game forcing Smith to go to the air. Smith has thrown for an average of 336 yard per game over the last two weeks. Unfortunately, the extra attempts have only resulted in a total of one touchdown passes in those two games. The Chiefs face off against the Bears in Week 5, which could make Smith an option at quarterback next week if your starting quarterback is on bye.
