Matt Cassel will be active for the first time for Cowboys vs. Patriots

Ed Werder spoke to Matt Cassel today who informed him that he will be active this Sunday for the first time as a Cowboy. (Ed Werder on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
It is safe to assume that Matt Cassel with back up Brandon Weeden this weekend against his former team. He had been working as the QB3 behind Kellen Moore but the coaches must have saw something in Cassel to activate him. He is a seasoned veteran who may have some insight in to the New England Patriots offense. Barring an injury or abysmal play by Weeden, Cassel should remain the QB2. If he were to go in the game he would be more than servicable and merits consideration in 2QB leagues.
