Russell Wilson comes up short on Sunday night

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson had a very sluggish performance on Sunday night versus the Arizona Cardinals. He completed 14 of his 32 attempted passes for 240 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Wilson was sacked twice and also led the Seahawks in rushing, as he gained 52 yards on six carries. Fantasy Impact:

Russell Wilson and the Seattle offense came alive a little bit in the second half, but it was not enough as the Cardinals won by a score of 39-32. Russell Wilson has yet to throw for 300 yards in a game this season, and has not thrown more than one touchdown in a game since September. Much of their scoring was because of the defense: one fumble was returned for a touchdown and another fumble set up a three-yard Marshawn Lynch run. Some of Seattle's offensive inefficiency can be traced back to the offensive line: they are just awful. However, even with a terrible offensive line, fantasy owners had to expect better than 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions through nine games. Wilson has zero rushing touchdowns as well.
