Matt Ryan plagued by turnovers yet again in another Falcons' loss

by Justin Dade | Sun, Nov 29th 4:25pm EST

Matt Ryan continued his struggles in Sunday's loss the the Vikings finishing 22/31 for 230 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. Ryan failed to eclipse 100 yards passing in the first half and found most of his success including the touchdown on the Falcons' last drive in garbage time. Ryan made more questionable throws on the day including an awful decision in the red zone that led to his NFL-leading fifth turnover in the red zone in the third quarter. His first interception was just a poor throw over the middle thrown behind his man that was picked off by Captain Munnerlyn.

Fantasy Impact:

Nobody really knows what is wrong with Matt Ryan, but this season has just been brutal. Ryan now has 12 interceptions on the season, and this performance was his fifth multi-interception game of the season. Ryan seems to struggle if his first read isn't open, and tries to force the ball over the middle of the field. Ryan will be a low QB1 next week as the Falcons' offense will try to turn things around on the road against the Buccaneers.
