According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the NFL suspended free-agent safety Taylor Mays for violating league's substance-abuse policy. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)

Taylor Mays was suspended for four-games in 2016 on Monday. The suspension could affect the interest the defensive back garners from potential landing spots this offseason and ultimately, his value. Mays could have to wait until training camp or the preseason to find work once NFL teams start losing players to the inevitable injury bug.
