2o13 was the first season in the past 7 years that Colston failed to reach the 1,000-yard plateau. Colston has been a solid producer with Brees over the years and we can expect him to bounce back after a down season. Over the past seven seasons, Colston had produced at least 80-plus receptions in 6 of those 7 years. With the down production from 2013, Colston is likely to slip through the rounds allowing you to draft a solid No.2 or No.3 fantasy wide receiver with a ton of upside in a system that is going to throw a ton with a future hall of fame quarterback in Drew Brees.
As he heads into the final season of his rookie contract, the 2011 fourth-round pick is looking to have a bounce back season. Even though the Jaguars drafted Blake Bortles with the third-overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, they are wanting quarterback Chad Henne to start all 16 games. Shorts actually has his best games when Henne is throwing him the passes. He broke out in 2012 producing 55 receptions, 44 from Henne in 9 starts (all Henne starts). He finished 2012 with 979 yards and 7 touchdowns including 4 touchdowns in the last 6 games. With Justin Blackmon suspended indefinitely for multiple violations of the league’s substance abuse policy, Shorts becomes Henne’s top target.

James Hatfield
Hatty Waiver Wire Guru
He didn't find 1,000 yards last year, but did have 8 TD's so he is a solid bye week filler and injury spot starter.
Henne loves to throw to Shorts and Shorts is a solid WR selection for 2014.

Chet Gresham
The Fake Football
His knees are made of of old barbed-wire and papier-mâché, but as long as he's on the field and moving, he's going to see productive targets from Brees.
His injury tendencies are scary, but his ability isn't. He is a high upside receiver as the only tested wide receiver on the Jaguars and Chad Henne has no qualms about testing the secondary deep.

Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
Still a factor in a potent offense but has been dealing with health issues. He's no more than a middle ground WR2 now.
No Blackmon means #1 role to start, giving him solid WR2 potential.

Tozzi Brothers
Legion Report
Sneaky play for 1000 yards in the Saints moderate strength of schedule against the pass, the 31 year old says the plantar fasciatis that has plagued his last few seasons is completely healed. I’m not taking the gamble on him in the middle rounds, though.
Shorts suffered a Grade 2 Hamstring injury which will sideline him “multiple weeks” with the potential of missing Pre-Season Games. Shorts has fell victim to numerous injuries in Jacksonville as he sat out most of the offseason with calf and hamstring issues while also undergoing groin surgery in December. Entering the final year of his rookie contract, a fully healthy Shorts could be a steal in late rounds of Fantasy Drafts, especially with Justin Blackmon gone. Keep note on his health, as this plays a major factor for the only proven receiver in Jacksonville.

Pat Fitzmaurice
The Football Girl
A lot of smart people think he's being underrated, but age (31) starting to show.
Productive when healthy, but he's often dinged.

Derek Lofland
Fantasy Football Maniax
Colston was in decline this year, finishing with 75 receptions for 943 yards and five receiving touchdowns. He has little upside at this point in his career, even with QB Drew Brees throwing him the ball. I initially thought both Stills and Cooks would pass him, but Stills is becoming more dicey to me.

Raju Byfield
Win My Fantasy League
Ranking may be a little low but there is just so much talent at WR this year
Solid flex2 option but Robinson will take job on the outside relegating Shorts to slot role which he is more suited for
