Fantasy Football Maniax
Bell is likely to lead the Lions in carries with RB Reggie Bush serving as the third down back and change of pace back. Look for Bell to be the fantasy back to own in Detroit in 2014. He is a solid RB2 with his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield and score rushing touchdowns.
On the positive side, he had 147 rushes for 549 yards and three touchdowns to go along with 77 receptions for 513 yards and three touchdowns. The negative is he turns 30-years old in December and is in the last year of his contract. The Saints pass the ball a ton, Thomas will have RB3 value, even if he does not lead the team in carries.

Chet Gresham
The Fake Football
Last year the Saints gave Darren Sproles and Pierre Thomas both 70+ receptions. Joe Lombardi brings that offense to Detroit and Bell could see a bump in targets and continue to get goal line looks. Plus Bush is an injury waiting to happen.
Thomas is the only running back now in New Orleans that will see multiple targets per game and he will make good use of them.

2MugsFF
We're bullish here, but he will pay huge dividends if you're looking for a RB in the 4th/5th round.

Tozzi Brothers
Legion Report
Joique Bell will see the biggest jump in production with new OC Joe Lombardi. Lombardi is known as a RBBC type OC and he has the guys to do it. Joique has caught 50+ ball the past two seasons and is a lock again in 2014. Bell will also see more rushing and goal line attempts this season, which gives him huge Fantasy potential in this Lions Offense!
Pierre Thomas has never had more than 150 Rushing Attempts in a Season, he has only once accumulated over 700 Rushing Yards and will not light up the scoreboard with TDís for fantasy owners. With Darren Sproles out of town, there will be a level of consistency associated with his 77 Receptions from last season. Thomasí numbers are balanced between rushing and receiving yards, but he is a much better option in PPR Leagues due to the uptempo NOLA Offense and the receptions that he grabs as benefactor to that aerial assault.

Raju Byfield
Win My Fantasy League
Joique Bell seems like the favorite to start in Detroit and should see 1,000 plus rushing yards with 6-8 touchdowns this season.
Pierre Thomas saw 77 receptions last season and should approach that number again with Darren Sproles out of town. Some believe Mark Ingram will finally get feature back looks but Thomas will remain a fantasy asset regardless of how Ingram performs this season due to Thomasí superior hands out of the backfield.

Kevin Roberts
Breaking Football
Lions will split touches between Bell and Bush. He has RB2 upside.
Role has taken a hit and is in full blown RBBC.

Smitty
Fantasy Football Starters
Very underrated! Bell can pull in 60 balls, and despite Reggie Bush looking speedy this preseason, Bush is very much an injury risk, and Bell could lead the team in carries. I expect Bell to have a strong finish in weeks 8-16.

Pat Fitzmaurice
The Football Girl
His talent is real; Bush's presence limits the upside.
May well be the Saints' best RB, but he's destined to be a committee member.

Jon Collins
Fantasy Sports LR
Perhaps his receptions come down a tick sans-Linehan, but, Bell showed he has a lot to offer this offense in 2013.

James Hatfield
Hatty Waiver Wire Guru
8 TD's and 1,000+ yards in 2013 make him a solid hand-cuff RB to Reggie Bush. If you draft Reggie then you have to go after Bell.

Tom Schriner
FFLockerRoom
The consensus thus far in the off season is that Bell could be the early down back and Reggie Bush will perform in most passing situations. With Caldwell now the head coach, look for a much more balanced offense.
These darn New Orleans RB's are going to continue to drive fantasy owners up-the-wall. Don't touch them unless the value is great. They will once again be splitting time on any given Sunday.
