You know it’s an interesting week whenever Kirk Cousins has a better consensus ranking than Peyton Manning. Then the following happens and it’s not even a huge shock:

Needless to say, Manning represented a considerable landmine to any expert hoping to rate well in week 10’s accuracy competition (scoring negative fantasy points will do that). Below is our recap of who had the best rankings last week along with an update of how the full season leaderboard is shaping up.

Congratulations to Sean Morris (Bruno Boys) for putting together week 10’s most accurate rankings. Morris was firmly in the camp that was high on Bears rookie Jeremy Langford. He slotted Langford 5 spots above the expert consensus and rated him as a RB1 (his RB #11). That turned out to be a great pick as Langford (182 yards, 2 TDs) outperformed all other fantasy RBs. Morris also had a good read on another rookie RB that exceeded expectations: Matt Jones (187 yards, 1 TD). His rank for Jones (RB #19) was 7 spots above the consensus. For his WR picks, Morris gets credit for identifying Stefon Diggs as a bust candidate. Diggs registered just 2 catches (47 yards) against the Raiders. Morris had the foresight to rank Diggs below all but 1 expert as his #27 WR (-11 rank spots vs. consensus). And at QB, it’s always a good idea to give a low ranking to a key player that’s about to score negative fantasy points. Morris did just that by slotting Peyton Manning 5 spots below the expert consensus (his QB #15).
