After suffering through all of the byes, we are all to the point where there are more than enough start-worthy options. That doesn’t mean there are fewer start/sit questions, however. Below are my continually updating rankings for Week 13 to help you through your start/sit recommendations, and as always, I’ll explain four of the more controversial ones. If you have more questions, don’t hesitate to let me know on Twitter.

Jameis Winston (QB #12)
Back in Week 9, Jameis hurt his shoulder right after posting a 7 fantasy point dud in Week 8 (in a tropical storm!). Seeing as that is the extent of what he has done over the last month, many will be nervous to start him, especially coming off an injury. Before you bench him, or worse, pass him over as a waiver wire streaming option, consider his previous four starts:
@ MIN – 18 fantasy points (40 passes)
vs NYG – 26 fantasy points (38 passes)
vs NE – 18 fantasy points (46 passes)
@ BUF – 26 fantasy points (44 passes)
So that’s 22 FP/game and 42 passes per game. Yeah, I think he will be just fine against a lousy Packers’ secondary.
DeMarco Murray (RB #36)
Trust me, I’m more surprised that you are considering starting him than you are about me saying he is a must-bench. What can possibly be the rationale for starting a guy who has NINETEEN rushing yards combined over the past two weeks and has only surpassed 60 once all season? In fact, Derrick Henry has been such a presence that the Titans have only afforded Murray 15 or more carries once all season. Are you seriously going to start him against a top 3 run defense?
Josh Doctson (WR #22)
Since taking over as the starter, Doctson has been shadowed by Richard Sherman, Xavier Rhodes, Marshon Lattimore and Janoris Jenkins. For those of you keep track at home, those are four of the top 8 cover corners in football. Most wideouts would be thrilled to get the 200 yards Doctson has brought in during those four matchups. He is getting the target share to start every week, and should bust out now that he is finally in a decent matchup against the Cowboys.
Jared Cook (TE #1)
I know you were burnt last week in what should have been a stellar matchup for Cook against Denver, but tight ends are all volatile. That is unless they are playing the Giants. In that case, we know exactly what to expect: a top 12 tight end performance. Seeing that Cook has over 300 yards in his past five games and is the only receiving threat with Amari Cooper likely out and Michael Crabtree suspended, it seems safe to be on Cook having a monster week in his perfect matchup.
