Fantasy Football Week 10 Flex Favorites

Fantasy Football Week 10 Flex Favorites

If you’re reading this, then you are probably hoping for quality flex advice. The idea with this article is to make those tricky flex debates a little easier. A flex player is a player not in the top 60 players according to FantasyPros Flex Week 10 Rankings in half-point PPR leagues as of Wednesday.

I decided to go with the no players in the top 60 to target 12-team leagues that start two running backs and three wide receivers (five players x 12 teams = 60 players). The players below will only be running backs or wide receivers since these are the two most common positions that fill the flex spot. If you don’t have any of the players below or are facing your own flex lineup decisions and need some help, then ask me on Twitter @mitchellrenz365.

Ted Ginn (WR – NO) @BUF
Ted Ginn has been a viable option this year for fantasy football yet he is disrespected simply because his name is Ted Ginn. Sure he will drop a no doubt touchdown once in awhile, but that’s part of the fun in starting Ginn.

Ginn over the last four weeks is the WR4 in fantasy football. Hard to believe I know, but it’s true, and instead of him dropping passes he is dropping fantasy points on your opponent and help you and the Saints win games.

C.J. Anderson (RB – DEN) vs. NE
Anderson and the Broncos offense right now is hard to watch and a big reason why they have lost four games in a row. The only hope the Broncos have in winning this game is by keeping the Patriots offense off the field, and the best way to do that is Anderson.

The Patriots have given up the fourth-most fantasy points to running backs this season. Anderson and the Broncos play better at home, and the Broncos play better when the ball is given to Anderson. All three of the Broncos wins are games where Anderson carried the ball 20 times at least.

Cooper Kupp (WR – LAR) vs. HOU
The Texans defense since losing J.J. Watt and Whitney Mercilus has been struggling, and this week they welcome in the NFL’s top scoring offense the Rams. Kupp this season has been a solid starter and the last two weeks have seen him go over 50 receiving yards. I’m looking for a player with a safe floor from my flex position which is exactly what Kupp provides.

He also has a good shot to score a touchdown considering how often the Rams are in the red zone and how often he is targetted in the red zone. Currently, Kupp has the third most red zone targets in the NFL with 13 of them.

Rod Smith (RB – DAL) @ ATL
Maybe the air down here in Dallas has me hyped on Rod Smith, but he is the most talented running back in Dallas not named Ezekiel Elliott. Elliott is suspended and won’t be playing the next four weeks for certain.

The Falcons have given up 53 receptions to running backs this season which is the second most in the NFL. Rod Smith will be the pass-catching running back while Elliott is suspended and even has the upside to get the majority of carries going forward.

Jermaine Kearse (WR – NYJ) @TB
The Buccaneers have allowed the second most fantasy points to wide receivers this season. The Buccaneers look to be falling apart and it’s the perfect week for Josh McCown to get his revenge game against his old team. They have allowed the second most receptions to wide receivers this season with 117 and in a game where the Jets are going to score points starting Kearse is a solid flex play.

Hopefully, these players allow you to flex your fantasy flex muscles and bring you to a victory like Marshawn Lynch did last week for me in Week 9 Favorites. I am confident that these flex players will bring you a win.
