Monday starts off the week with a solid eight-game MLB slate on DraftKings. Finding bats that you will want to roster is no problem at all with a game at Coors Field and plenty of pitchers to attack. However, determining which pitchers to slot in is another story, so it could be a night to prioritize bats and go cheap (I mean really cheap) with your second pitching slot.
As always, be sure to pay close attention to the lineups when they are released and monitor the weather leading up to game time. For reference throughout the season, be sure to bookmark our overview of MLB Park Factors and how to Use Weather to Your Advantage in MLB DFS.

Pitchers
Zack Greinke (HOU): $10,700 @ CWS
Greinke’s Astros debut didn’t go as well as hoped as he surrendered five runs in six innings with only two strikeouts against the Rockies in Houston. He did pick up a win thanks to the powerful Astros offense and he should get another victory on Monday in a very favorable matchup with the White Sox in Chicago. The White Sox rank dead last in wOBA (.256) and 29th in wRC+ (57) against right-handed pitching over the last 30 days. They also have the highest strikeout rate in the league (29.7%) versus righties during that stretch. Greinke should be a fixture in almost all of your lineups.

Austin Pruitt (TB): $4,000 @ SD
As I eluded to in the intro, I’m going to go super cheap with my SP2 slot on this slate. Pruitt is expected to be the primary long reliever for the Rays on the road against the Padres on Monday night. The Padres have a 26.2% strikeout rate (4th) against righties over the last 30 days. Meanwhile, Pruitt has posted eight strikeouts over his last seven innings. We just need Pruitt to manage to reach double-digit DraftKings points to be worth the risk at his price, while we load up on bats.

Hitters
Nolan Arenado (3B – COL): $5,400 vs. ARI
You will certainly want to get exposure to Coors Field on Monday. While Arenado is better against lefties, he is still very good versus righties, especially at home with a .381 wOBA and .227 ISO this season. He has collected at least one hit in seven straight games (all on the road) while knocking four balls out of the park during that stretch. He’ll face righty Merrill Kelly who he has already gone 3-for-5 with a double and a homer off this year.
David Peralta (OF – ARI): $4,900 @ COL
Also, look to make an investment in some Diamondbacks hitters on the other side of the field versus the Rockies and right-hander Peter Lambert. Lambert has struggled versus lefties early on in his career, serving up a .408 wOBA with a 2.25 HR/9 rate. Those numbers get even worse at home which is where he will square off with Peralta and some good left-handed bats. Peralta has posted a .363 wOBA and .214 ISO versus righties this season.
Carlos Correa (SS – HOU): $4,600 @ CWS
Correa has been heating up at the plate recently including homers in back-to-back games while producing a total of five hits in those outings. He has produced a .376 wOBA and .289 ISO versus righties this season and will face White Sox righty Dylan Cease on Monday in Chicago. Cease has allowed a homer in all six of his starts this year including three to right-handed hitters.
Aaron Judge (OF – NYY): $4,400 vs. BAL
The Yankees have a doubleheader on Monday, so be sure to watch the starting lineup for the nightcap closely, but numerous Yankees hitters are in play for a home game against the Orioles regardless of who takes the mound. Judge has a .397 wOBA at home this season and the Yankees just got done beating up on Orioles pitching in Baltimore last week with 32 runs in three games.
Justin Upton (OF – LAA): $3,600 vs. PIT
Upton offers some value in the outfield with plenty of home run upside. He has posted a .371 wOBA and .258 ISO versus right-handed pitching this season and will face Pirates righty, Mitch Keller. Keller has allowed 14 runs in 12 innings over his first three big-league starts. Right-handed hitters have a .461 wOBA in those outings. Nothing better than a pair of reverse splits that align.
