The excitement of the 2021 NFL Draft is over, but the seven round marathon is not the end of the road for prospects who didn’t hear their names called over the three-day event. Once the draft is over, teams scramble to sign the top UDFA’s on their board. Some prospects, like Marvin Wilson, entice bidding wars with five or more teams all vying for their services. Others sign with the first team that calls, while others choose the team they think is the best fit in terms of scheme and/or depth chart. This year’s UDFA class is more loaded than usual, and that has resulted in most of the top undrafted free agents signing within 24 hours.
