Justin Jefferson (hamstring) still going through evaluation process

Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell said Justin Jefferson is still going through the evaluation process on his hamstring strain.

Fantasy Impact

Jefferson left Sunday’s game against the Chiefs and did not return as he stayed on the sidelines. His status will be one to monitor throughout the week.

Deshaun Watson (shoulder) day-to-day, status remains up in the air

Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski declined a chance to say he’s optimistic that Deshaun Watson will be ready for Sunday’s game against the 49ers.

Fantasy Impact

The expectation was that Watson would return after the Browns bye week after missing their Week 4 game against the Ravens. It sounds like that is not as much of a guarantee as it initially seemed to be. The status of Watson will be one to monitor throughout the week.

Daniel Jones (neck) not ruled out for Week 6

Giants QB Daniel Jones is dealing with a neck injury similar to the one he suffered in 2021. The team is optimistic that the injury is not serious.

Fantasy Impact

Comparing it to the 2021 injury that cost Jones the final six games of the season likely means he suffered the same injury, but not as serious. The team has not ruled him out for Week 6 and his status will likely be up in the air heading into Sunday. Fantasy managers will want to monitor his status on the team’s practice reports this week. The Giants should release more information on the severity of the injury after Jones’ MRI Monday.
