Fantasy Baseball Streaming Pitchers & Waiver Wire Pickups (Week 10)

It’s the week 10 fantasy baseball streaming pitchers and it’s crazy to think we are almost halfway done for some fantasy league baseball seasons. I have another pitcher for this week where I picked their stat line. My pick last week, Simeon Woods-Richardson was not even close. I predicted 6IP, 2 ER, 1 BB, 5 Ks and the win. The actual results were 4.2 IP 0ER, 0BB, 1K and a ND. Before we get to the fantasy baseball streaming pitchers here are my picks from May 13th-May 19th:

Totals: 29 IP, 12 ER, 9 BB, 18 K, 1-2 Record

*Jose Butto didn’t factor into this week results

Canning was the only standout, not a good overall week. Below we dive into my top fantasy baseball streaming pitchers for Week 10.

Fantasy Baseball Streaming Pitchers: Week 10

Used the average of ESPN, YAHOO and CBS for roster percentage

Fantasy Baseball Streaming Pitchers: Monday, May 27th

Alec Marsh (KC) at MIN 37%

Marsh has 2.72 ERA and a 1.07 WHIP. Opponents are hitting just .211 against him this year. The downside of Marsh is that he has only pitched over 6 innings twice this season. The Royals have been playing well and even though the Twins have won three in a row, they are coming off a seven-game losing streak before that. I’ll trust Marsh and the Royals in this one. Marsh might not get a QS, but the Royals could get 3 or 4 runs in the first 5 innings and that should be enough for a win.

Other Option: Taijuan Walker (PHI) at SF 41%

Fantasy Baseball Streaming Pitchers: Tuesday, May 28th

Matt Waldron (SD) vs MIA 10%

Waldron’s numbers don’t jump off the page. His 4.86 ERA and 52Ks in 50 innings don’t scream excitement. He’s a knuckleballer though! After a rough start against Arizona at the beginning of May, Waldron has done better. In his last three starts he has pitched 16 innings with 23Ks. He has pitched 5 innings or more in seven of his ten starts. I believe he can go five for sure against an Oakland team that has fallen lately compared to how they started the month of May. Oakland is 2-8 in their last ten games, and I’ll be interested to see how they fair against Waldron. Waldron is also my pick for this week: 5.1 IP, 9 Ks, 2BB and the win.

Other Option: Simeon Woods-Richardson (MIN) vs KC 25%

Fantasy Baseball Streaming Pitchers: Wednesday, May 29th

Graham Ashcraft (CIN) vs STL 31%

Didn’t really like any matchups on this day, but I decided to go with Ashcraft. The Cardinals are playing much better the past few weeks, but their overall numbers still rank towards the bottom in several hitting categories. In ten starts this year, Ashcraft has at least gone 5 innings in all but one. His last four starts have been a struggle though. He hasn’t pitched over 5 innings and has given up at least 3 ER in each of the last four games. I’ll roll the dice that he can get a QS and win in this game though.

Other Option: Bryse Wilson (MIL) vs CHC 9%

Fantasy Baseball Streaming Pitchers: Thursday, May 30th

Chris Paddack (MIN) vs KC 48%

This could be the last time Paddack makes an appearance as a streamer. His roster percentage has risen over the last weeks, and he bounced back nicely at his last start after giving up 5 ER in 5 innings against the Yankees. His last start against the Guardians he went 8 innings, gave up 2 ER and struck out 6 while walking none. The Royals are not a push over but it’s Thursday and your options are limited.

Other Option: Colin Rea (MIL) vs CHC 19%

Fantasy Baseball Streaming Pitchers: Friday, May 31st

Jose Soriano (LAA) at SEA 19%

For the month of May Soriano has given up 5 earned runs in 23.2 innings. Walks are a concern, he issued 12 walks in April but has cut that in half for the month of May. He has also only allowed one home run this month. Seattle might be leading the AL West Division but has the fourth worst batting average in the majors. They don’t strike fear in the hitting department, so I would take a chance on Soriano in this one.

Other Option: Bailey Falter (PIT) at TOR 12%

Fantasy Baseball Streaming Pitchers: Saturday, June 1st

Ryan Weathers (MIA) vs TEX 24%

Not sure how long Weathers can keep up with this production. It’s not elite by any means but much better than his 6.55 ERA he finished with last year. Last season teams hit .309 against him as well. This season he currently has a 3.49 ERA, and teams are hitting just .205 against him. In his last two starts he’s pitched 15 innings, 12 Ks and gave up just one ER. The Rangers are 2-8 over the last ten games and are averaging just 2.5 runs a game in that span. Go with the hot hand of Weathers for now.

Other Option: Robert Gasser (MIL) vs CHW 36%

Fantasy Baseball Streaming Pitchers: Sunday, June 2nd

Taijuan Walker (PHI) vs STL 41%

After reaching 6 innings in his first three starts he has failed to reach 5 innings in his last two. In his previous start he had control problems where he issued 4 walks. The start before that, he exited earlier when he took a comebacker off his foot. The Cardinals have been hitting better but they are still inconsistent and overall numbers are still poor. Plus, Walker hasn’t given up more than 3 ER since his debut last season. I’ll take Walker here with a solid Phillies lineup backing him.

Other Option: Griffin Canning (LAA) at SEA 22%
