Monday’s Starting Pitcher Rankings
Hunter Brown (HOU) vs. SEA
Hunter Brown has been sharp lately. According to FanGraphs, in his previous five starts spanning 29.2 innings, Brown had a 2.43 ERA, 3.55 xFIP, 3.80 SIERA, 1.01 WHIP, 5.8 BB%, 21.5 K%, 25.5 CSW%, 101 Stuff+, 101 Location+, 100 Pitching+ and four quality starts. Sadly, his opponent has been hot lately.
The Mariners were second in wRC+ (143) with a 24.4 K% in the previous 14 days. Nevertheless, Seattle is 12th in wRC+ (105) with a 27.5 K% versus righties and tied for 11th in wRC+ (102) with a 25.4 K% on the road this year. Furthermore, Houston is -155, and the game's total is a pitcher-friendly 7.5 runs.
Tanner Houck (BOS) at TOR
Tanner Houck has excelled on the road. In 24 road starts totaling 130.2 innings since last season, Houck has had a 3.51 ERA, 3.52 xFIP, 1.16 WHIP, 7.5 BB%, 22.9 K% and 11 quality starts. The righty's matchup and betting info aren't exciting.
The Blue Jays are tied for eighth in wRC+ (107) with a 20.2 K% versus righties and 11th in wRC+ (106) with a 20.7 K% at home this season. However, Toronto was 18th in wRC+ (87) with a 23.0 K% in the previous 14 days. Finally, the Red Sox are EVEN, and the game's total is 8.0 runs. So, while the betting info isn't exciting, it's not dreadful.
Suggested Lineup Stacks
The Diamondbacks have a juggernaut offense. They're fifth in wRC+ (113) versus righties and fourth in wRC+ (120) at home this year. Moreover, Arizona is first in wRC+ (146) in the previous 14 days.
They should stay hot in a plus matchup. Hayden Birdsong had a 4.22 ERA in his last five starts, but his 5.06 xFIP and 5.33 SIERA were more indicative of the quality of his work.

Carroll isn't just on a heater. He's also a handful for righties. In 1,010 career plate appearances against righties since 2022, Carroll has had a .350 OBP, .236 ISO and 129 wRC+.
Eugenio Suarez: 5.5 Fantasy Points - Higher (Sleeper) (1.42x)
Eugenio Suarez: 6.5 Fantasy Points - Higher (Underdog)
Suarez isn't a slouch in same-handed matchups. In 1,438 plate appearances against righties since 2022, Suarez has had a .314 OBP, .198 ISO and 112 wRC+. Furthermore, Birdsong has struggled with righties. He's allowed a .360 wOBA to 112 right-handed batters this season.
Heliot Ramos: 6.5 Fantasy Points - Higher (Sleeper) (1.85x)
Heliot Ramos: 1.5 Total Bases - Higher (Underdog) (Scorcher 1.07x)
Ramos's career stats against lefties are outstanding. However, they're more impressive when looking at only this season. In 118 plate appearances against lefties this season, the breakout outfielder has hit nine doubles, one triple and nine homers with a .441 OBP, .738 slugging, .369 ISO and 219 wRC+. Finally, Eduardo Rodriguez has yielded a .281 batting average, .329 OBP, .474 slugging and .342 wOBA to 146 righties this year.
