NFL DFS Stacking Advice & Picks: Week 6 (2024)

We enter Week 6 knowing one fact: Stacking elevates our lineups to new levels when playing daily fantasy sports (DFS). Stacking is vital to maximizing your DFS potential in Week 6. Today, we’ll break down the best QB/WR combos and some unique combinations to help elevate your lineup. We will also discuss game environments to target, helping you build explosive lineups and get that edge over the competition to break the slate and take home extra money this weekend.

DFS Stacking Advice & Picks: Week 6

Jayden Daniels  + Terry McLaurin + Zach Ertz + Derrick Henry (WAS QB+WR+TE/BAL RB)

If the season ended right now, Jayden Daniels would be the NFL Rookie of the Year. The rookie superstar is slinging the rock, as he has three games with 25+ passing attempts and three games with 20+ completions. He has finished as the QB5 or better thrice this short season.

Teams have attacked the Ravens’ defense through the air, as the defense has been a pass funnel of sorts in 2024. The Ravens have allowed the fourth-most completions and the most passing yards allowed, leaving Daniels as a stellar option for your quarterback position this week. Daniels has also excelled leaps and bounds in coverage reading compared to most rookies. When teams use a pre-snap two-high look that switches to single-high post-snap, he is 17-of-17 against this coverage change.

On top of all the passing abilities, we know Daniels is a Konami Code with his mobility skills. Whenever a player becomes a two-blade weapon in your arsenal, we must use that player.

This week, we like to double-stack the rookie quarterback with his alpha wide receiver and veteran tight end. Only the Philadelphia Eagles allow more fantasy points to the wide receiver position than the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens allow the third-most receiving yards and the second-most touchdowns to wide receivers.

Tie in the weak coverage ability of the Ravens against wide receivers to the weak coverage ability of the Commanders (most touchdowns allowed to WRs in 2024), and we have a chance for a shootout in this matchup.

We must not forget the tight end position. We usually aim for someone who can break the century mark in the receiving yard category. However, the veteran Zach Ertz has seen a steady flow of targets, as he has seen four or more targets in every game but one. Last week, Ertz was hyper-targeted, as he received eight targets. The Ravens allow the second-most receiving yards to the tight end position. Daniels must lean on his veteran presence against this Super Bowl-contending team from Baltimore.

Finally, we have our bring-back option of Derrick Henry. Henry is a pretty simple option for most lineups, as he has scored a touchdown in every game this season. Henry also has 15+ rushing attempts in every game but one and has recorded 4.67 yards per carry or more in every game this season. The king has owned the throne this season, and we should expect more against a defense allowing the sixth-most yards to running backs this season.

Deshaun Watson + Amari Cooper (CLE QB+WR)

We understand using Deshaun Watson is a scary proposition for your fantasy football lineups in any format. Watson has not been a good quarterback since entering the Cleveland Browns’ organization. However, his price is meager in Week 6, leaving us a chance to get a starting quarterback for a low price and allowing us to pay up elsewhere on our daily fantasy sports lineup.

If there were a defense that you would want to have Watson play against, it would be the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles are struggling to create any pressure against the quarterback. They cannot stop any passing plays, making the Eagles’ defense an optimal opponent for a struggling quarterback. Finding the struggling quarterback who has the chance to propel upward and beat his fantasy potential for the week is the way to break a slate. If Watson was ever to have a get-right game, this is it. He should have plenty of time to process and finally hit his targets down the field.

If Watson is going to have a big game, he will need to finally hit Amari Cooper on big plays. Cooper has been the air yards king for a Browns offense without any payoff. As we stated earlier, the Eagles allow the most fantasy points to the wide receiver position this year and have been an easy opponent to rack up yardage against, as the cornerbacks refuse to press any receivers.

This stack is risky but could break the slate in a GPP.

DFS is about finding your edge; sometimes, you must mix it up. These stacks can help elevate your team, and then you can add potential game-breakers to these stacks to truly dominate in Week 6. That’s where individual plays like Tony Pollard with Calvin Ridley come into the fold, creating a lineup filled with proven playmakers who could pop off at any time. Or, if you’re feeling particularly adventurous, try a Spencer RattlerBucky Irving stack. Yes, it’s contradictory, but embracing chaos is part of the DFS fun. Just make sure you’re ready for some high-risk, high-reward thrills.
