Keyonte George has been inefficient since his role expanded after Jordan Clarkson suffered a torn plantar fascia, but his shot volume is encouraging. Three of George’s last four games have featured at least 20 attempts and 23 points.
There hasn’t been clear word on Clarkson’s return and with rookie Isaiah Collier finding his way, Utah has greater incentive to trade Collin Sexton to a contender. There’s a world where George is the go-to guard for the Jazz after the deadline.
George’s numbers in January are 19.3 points, four rebounds, six assists and 1.2 steals per game on 38.5% shooting from the field.

Khris Middleton (SG, SF – MIL)
The Bucks rumor mill has some smoke plumes rising from it. Bradley Beal, Jimmy Butler and Zach LaVine are some of the names being thrown around, and Khris Middleton will certainly go elsewhere should a deal go down.
In 18 appearances and seven starts this season, Middleton is posting some solid numbers considering he’s getting up just 9.6 shots per night. Though, at 33, and always battling ankle ailments, is it realistic to expect Middleton to perform any better than he is now on a different team?

This spells well for other Miami players, most notably Tyler Herro. The guard is averaging 24.9 points, 6.1 points and 4.9 assists per game in 17 games without Butler in the lineup.

It wasn’t all that uncommon to hear people say Nic Claxton was the NBA’s most underrated defender — and maybe even player — just a couple of years ago. So far this season, the big man is averaging his fewest amount of minutes, points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks and FG% since 2022.
Claxton’s down year has given way to a greater run for forwards Noah Clowney, Tosan Evbuomwan, Ziaire Williams and Jalen Wilson. Explore the trade market for the struggling Claxton.
