Christian Kirk could be released this offseason
Dan Graziano of ESPN wrote that he believes there’s a 75 percent chance the Jaguars cut WR Christian Kirk this offseason.
Fantasy Impact
Kirk is slated to make $16.5 million in the final year of his contract. His season ended early last year due to a broken collarbone. With the emergence of Brian Thomas, it is possible Jacksonville either looks to trade Kirk or end up releasing him.

Chris Godwin, Bucs working on new contract
The Buccaneers and Chris Godwin are reportedly working on a new contract.

It was reported earlier in the week that the Bucs are not expected to place the franchise tag on Godwin. They agreed to change his old contract so that it doesn’t void until the end of the league year on March 12, so he’ll have the next few weeks to agree to a new contract with Tampa Bay.

Trey Smith: Chiefs not expected to place franchise or transition tag
The Chiefs are not expected to place the franchise or transition tag on Trey Smith.
Fantasy Impact
Smith has started all 80 games for Kansas City since he was drafted by them. He’ll be one of the top offensive lineman on the free agent market if he can’t agree to a new deal with the Chiefs.
