Tee Higgins: Bengals optimistic about retaining WR
Bengals director of personnel Duke Tobin said he’s “optimistic” about retaining Tee Higgins.

Higgins once again had the franchise tag placed on him, and this time the hope is the two sides come to an agreement on a long-term contract. The Bengals are likely to pay both Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase this offseason.

Ja’Marr Chase could be made highest-paid non-QB in NFL
Bengals director of player personnel Duke Tobin said Cincinnati is preparing to make WR Ja’Marr Chase the highest-paid non-QB in the NFL.

“We’re going to reward Ja’Marr,” Tobin said Tuesday at the NFL Combine. Chase and the Bengals had contract discussions last offseason, but they did not end up going anywhere. Justin Jefferson is currently the highest-paid non-QB in the NFL with a $35 million average salary per season.

Chase Brown: Bengals GM says RB ‘made us right’
Bengals director of player personnel Duke Tobin says the team had hope for Chase Brown and he “made us right” last season.

“We had a lot of hope for Chase and he kind of made us right,” Tobin said. The Bengals backfield opened with a committee last season between Brown and Zack Moss. Brown eventually took over after Moss had his season end early. Brown figures to head into 2025 as the lead back in the Bengals backfield.
