It’s Tuesday, March 18th. The National Basketball Association (NBA) has four games on the schedule.
There is a nationally televised doubleheader on NBA TV, with the Brooklyn Nets and Boston Celtics tangling at 7:30 p.m. ET, while the Milwaukee Bucks and Golden State Warriors tip off at 10:00 p.m. ET.
Here are our top NBA DFS lineup picks and advice for tonight’s slate.

NBA DFS Core Plays
Steph Curry (PG – GSW)
- DraftKings: $9,200
- FanDuel: $9,000
Steph Curry heads into this nationally televised game against the Bucks and their opponent rank of 22. Curry is averaging 42.9 fantasy points per game. He is good for 24 points per game in the past two games, hitting four three-pointers in each game.
In nine games this month, Curry has managed 26.6 points, 6.6 assists, 4.1 rebounds, one steal and 4.4 three-pointers made per game. Curry dropped 38 points on 12-of-24 shooting with 6-of-16 from behind the arc in 34 minutes in a 125-111 win in Milwaukee on February 10th in the first meeting between these two teams. He also added six boards and four dimes.
Kawhi Leonard (SF, PF – LAC)
- DraftKings: $8,200
- FanDuel: $8,500
It’s a short slate, so there aren’t many high-priced options, leading to a much more balanced lineup compared to an eight- or 12-game slate night.
Kawhi Leonard has dropped 23+ points in three straight games. He has averaged 24 points, 6.4 rebounds and three assists in seven games in March while knocking down two three-pointers per game. Leonard is good for 33.8 fantasy points per game and is facing a Cavaliers team with an opponent rank of 23. It’s a good position for Leonard in this marquee matchup.
Donovan Mitchell (PG, SG – CLE)
- DraftKings: $8,800
- FanDuel: $8,500
Donovan Mitchell is a good play in this marquee battle, even though the Clippers have an opponent rank of six. Still, Spida has rolled up 40.5 fantasy points per game, so he should be able to overcome the Clippers’ suffocating defense.
Mitchell is averaging 23.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.4 assists, one steal and 1.8 three-pointers made per game in his past five games. He has misfired on 10+ field-goal attempts in each of his past four road games, so expect some shooting struggles along the way.
NBA DFS Cash Game Targets
Onyeka Okongwu (C – ATL)
- DraftKings: $7,500
- FanDuel: $7,800
Onyeka Okongwu has a very solid matchup against the Charlotte Hornets, especially since Miles Bridges will be sidelined as he sits out to rest. The Hornets have allowed 113.4 points per game, while Charlotte allows teams to hit 46.5% from the field. The perimeter defense is good for the Hornets, so that’s why we’ll focus on interior players for Atlanta.
Okongwu has been tremendous since February 29th, posting six double-doubles in the past nine games. He is averaging 14.9 points and 11.3 rebounds in eight March games. He recorded seven points and 10 rebounds in 31 minutes in the most recent game against the Hornets on March 12th.
Norman Powell (SG, PF – LAC)
- DraftKings: $7,200
- FanDuel: $6,600
Norman Powell comes into this game with a little bit of risk, but with an opponent rank of 23 against the Cavaliers, he is worth a roll of the dice. The swingman is averaging 34.6 fantasy points per game.
Powell managed just seven points on 3-of-13 shooting from the field and 1-of-4 from behind the three-point line. Since dropping 41 points on Utah last month, he has managed just 5.5 points and one rebound per game in the past two contests. It’s a bit of a leap of faith to back Powell here, but it could be a good move.
Dyson Daniels (PG, SG – ATL)
- DraftKings: $6,900
- FanDuel: $7,800
Dyson Daniels struggled in a blowout loss at home against the Clippers last Friday, scoring just six points on 2-of-12 shooting. However, he did record 14 points, seven assists, six rebounds, four steals, a blocked shot and a three-pointer in 34 minutes against Brooklyn on Sunday.
In the most recent game with the Hornets last Wednesday, he was good for 10 points, five boards, four steals, three dimes and two swats. The Hawks-Hornets game should provide some of the best offensive production of the evening.
NBA DFS GPP Targets
Moses Moody (SG, SF – GSW)
- DraftKings: $5,300
- FanDuel: $5,100
Moses Moody has stepped up his game with Brandin Podziemski sidelined for the past three games due to a back injury. Moody tailed off a bit last time out against Denver in a loss, but before that, he had hit double digits in points in five straight outings. He has also recorded 15 total three-pointers across his past six contests.
Kyle Kuzma (SF, PF – MIL)
- DraftKings: $5,300
- FanDuel: $5,500
Kyle Kuzma has a favorable matchup with the Warriors. He was good for 21 points on 6-of-9 shooting in 34 minutes against the Warriors on February 10th in the first matchup, while adding six rebounds. The Warriors have an opponent rank of 13.
Brook Lopez (C – MIL)
- DraftKings: $5,600
- FanDuel: $5,900
Another Bucks player to focus on is Brook Lopez. He is averaging a respectable 27 fantasy points per game, which isn’t that bad at this salary, especially since the Warriors have an opponent rank of 20.
Lopez is averaging nine points in the past two games, but he is just a week removed from back-to-back 23-point outings. He went for six points, four rebounds, three assists and three blocked shots in 25 minutes in the first meeting on February 10th.
NBA DFS Value Plays
Al Horford (PF, C – BOS)
- DraftKings: $5,100
- FanDuel: $5,300
Al Horford is worth parking at center in your lineup, with an opponent rank of 23 for the Nets in this favorable matchup. He went for nine points, nine rebounds and five assists in 32 minutes in a win at Miami last time out. He is averaging 14.4 points, nine rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.4 steals, 1.2 blocks and 2.2 three-pointers made in five March outings.
Wendell Moore Jr. (SF, PF – CHA)
- DraftKings: $3,100
- FanDuel: $3,800
Wendell Moore Jr. is an especially solid value on DraftKings. He could potentially see the start with Miles Bridges resting. Even if he comes off the bench, Moore should see many more offensive responsibilities. It won’t take much to exceed DFS salary expectations.
Sam Hauser (SF, PF – BOS)
- DraftKings: $4,100
- FanDuel: $4,300
With Jaylen Brown sidelined due to a back injury, the Celtics are expected to lean upon Sam Hauser and Payton Pritchard for more offensive responsibilities. The latter is a little pricier, so let’s kick the tires on Hauser.
Hauser had 11 points last time out on 28 minutes in Brooklyn, and he had hit three triples in that one. Don’t forget that on March 10th against Utah, Hauser blew up for 33 points with nine three-pointers and six rebounds in 35 minutes.
