Closer News & Notes

We now have a three-way tie at the top for saves in the MLB between Carlos Estevez, Robert Suarez and Josh Hader.

With the Astros being on a tear as of late, Hader has three saves in the past week and seven saves overall in June so far.

Robert Suarez is finishing up his two-game suspension, which he had reduced by one game after it was originally three games.

After not seeing much action early in the season, Felix Bautista has seen more involvement and more save chances so far in June.

After struggling to start June, where he allowed a run in four straight appearances, Ryan Helsley has since posted three straight scoreless appearances with two saves in that span.

Mason Miller recorded a save on Wednesday for the first time since June 15th. He remains a top closer in the MLB from a talent perspective, but opportunities have been limited with the Athletics struggling.
