Today’s MLB DFS & Player Props Picks
Wednesday’s Starting Pitcher Rankings
Logan Gilbert (SEA) vs. KC
Logan Gilbert is a stud at home. According to FanGraphs, in 132 innings at home since last year, Gilbert has had a 2.45 ERA, 2.58 xFIP, 0.78 WHIP, 4.0 BB% and 32.1 K%. He should build on his dominant numbers at home in a sweet matchup tonight.
The Royals are tied for 27th in wRC+ (86) with an 18.0 K% versus righties and tied for 16th in wRC+ (95) with a 19.1 K% on the road in 2025. Kansas City was also 28th in wRC+ (82) with a 17.8 K% in the previous 30 days. Thus, the Mariners are -182, and the game’s total is a pitcher-friendly 7.0 runs.
Will Warren (NYY) at TOR
Will Warren’s 3.47 xERA this season is the fourth-lowest among tonight’s probable starting pitchers, his 3.15 xFIP is the fourth-lowest and his 3.43 SIERA is the fifth-lowest. Sadly, Warren’s 4.37 ERA hasn’t matched his ERA estimators. The young righty has been much better lately, tallying the following stats in his previous five starts spanning 28.1 innings.
- 2.86 ERA
- 3.20 xFIP
- 3.41 SIERA
- 1.13 WHIP
- Two wins
- Two quality starts
- 9.5 BB%
- 29.3 K%
- 31.1 CSW%
- 104 stuff+
- 105 location+
- 109 pitching+
Warren’s matchup is mixed. The Blue Jays are second in wRC+ (122) at home with a 17.1 K% at home this year and tied for 11th in wRC+ (107) with a 15.9 K% in the previous 30 days. However, Toronto is tied for 14th in wRC+ (102) with a 17.5 K% versus righties in 2025. Additionally, four of their top-five projected hitters are right-handed, and Warren has held 209 right-handed batters since last year to a .293 wOBA, striking out 36.4% of them. Finally, the Yankees are -130, and the game’s total is 8.5 runs.
Tanner Bibee (CLE) at CHC
Tanner Bibee is having a stellar season and is in good form. In his previous five starts spanning 31.2 innings, Bibee has had the following stats.
- 3.98 ERA
- 3.31 xFIP
- 3.21 SIERA
- 1.01 WHIP
- Zero wins
- Three quality starts
- One complete game
- 3.8 BB%
- 24.2 K%
- 11.2 SwStr%
- 28.9 CSW%
- 109 stuff+
- 95 location+
- 102 pitching+
Bibee doesn’t have an ideal matchup or favorable betting info. Nevertheless, he’s a more talented pitcher than is typically available at his salary point on DraftKings, making him a compelling SP2 selection in GPPs.

Suggested Lineup Stacks
Didier Fuentes had a 4.81 ERA in nine starts (three in High-A, five in Double-A and one in Triple-A) before the Braves called him up, and he’s been lit up for a 10.80 ERA, 8.27 xERA, 5.49 xFIP, 5.36 SIERA and 1.80 WHIP in two starts for Atlanta. Fuentes has surrendered a .464 wOBA to 22 left-handed batters and a .440 wOBA to 18 right-handed batters in The Show. Gamers should stack against Fuentes until he proves he can handle the Majors.
- Road (Coors Field)
- Game Total/Moneyline: 11.0 Runs/HOU -260
The Astros will get a standard Coors Field pick-me-up tonight. Yet, they’ll also benefit from facing Austin Gomber. The 31-year-old lefty has a 6.14 ERA, 6.96 xERA, 6.12 xFIP, 6.33 SIERA and 1.43 WHIP in three starts this season. Gomber has struck out a pitiful 7.9% of the batters he’s faced this year. Finally, Gomber has had a 5.46 ERA, 5.00 xFIP, 1.42 WHIP and 13.0 K% in 85.2 innings at home since last year. The Astros will almost certainly be chalky tonight, but they should light up the scoreboard.
Core Studs
- Cam Smith has launched four longballs with a .388 OBP, .366 ISO and 185 wRC+ in 49 plate appearances against lefties in his rookie campaign.
- Mike Trout has mashed 37 taters with a .362 OBP, .275 ISO and 142 wRC+ in 574 plate appearances against righties since 2023.
- Christian Walker has hit 17 homers with a .329 OBP, .199 ISO and 109 wRC+ in 374 plate appearances against lefties since 2023.
Value Plays/Punts
- Jo Adell has ripped 18 homers with 34 runs, 44 RBIs, three stolen bases, a .318 OBP, .255 ISO and 128 wRC+ in 275 plate appearances in a breakout 2025 season.
- Miguel Vargas has hit 10 homers with 34 runs 28 RBIs, three stolen bases, a .333 OBP, .221 ISO and 127 wRC+ in his previous 249 plate appearances.
- Corey Seager has had a .393 OBP, .281 ISO and 167 wRC+ against righties since 2023 and is underpriced at DraftKings. He’s appropriately priced at FanDuel, and Zach Neto ($3,200) is an appealing alternative there, namely as part of a stack.
