Today’s MLB DFS & Player Props Picks
Wednesday’s Starting Pitcher Rankings
Kris Bubic (KC) vs. PIT
According to FanGraphs, Kris Bubic has the second-lowest ERA (2.36), the lowest xERA (3.02), the fourth-lowest xFIP (3.42), the fourth-lowest SIERA (3.56), the third-lowest WHIP (1.15) and the third-highest strikeout rate (25.6 K%) in 2025 among tonight’s probable starters. He checks all the production boxes.
Bubic also has a dreamy matchup and favorable betting info. The Pirates are tied for 29th in wRC+ (69) with a 27.0 K% versus lefties and 30th in wRC+ (63) with a 25.5 K% on the road in 2025. Pittsburgh was also 29th in wRC+ (75) with a 24.2 K% in the previous 30 days. Thus, the Royals are -194, and the game’s total is 8.5 runs.
Lucas Giolito (BOS) vs. COL
Lucas Giolito is in pristine form. In his previous five starts spanning 32.2 innings, Giolito has had the following stats.
- 0.83 ERA
- 3.69 xFIP
- 3.81 SIERA
- 0.92 WHIP
- Four wins
- Five quality starts
- 8.0 BB%
- 24.8 K%
- 11.3 SwStr%
- 29.0 CSW%
Giolito has the perfect matchup to stay hot, and his betting info supports that assertion. The Rockies are 30th in wRC+ (76) with a 26.4 K% versus righties and 29th in wRC+ (70) with a 28.4 K% on the road this year. Colorado was also tied for 21st in wRC+ (96) with a 25.9 K% in the previous 30 days, and Brayan Bello spun a complete game against them last night. Unsurprisingly, the Red Sox are commanding favorites (-295), and the game’s total of 9.0 runs says more about Boston’s scoring expectations than Colorado’s as a massive underdog.
Kumar Rocker (TEX) at LAA
Kumar Rocker has pitched well since the Rangers recalled him from the minors. In four subsequent starts spanning 21.1 innings, Rocker has had the following stats.
- 2.49 ERA
- 3.78 xFIP
- 3.81 SIERA
- 1.11 WHIP
- Two wins
- One quality start
- 8.0 BB%
- 22.7 K%
- 26.7 CSW%
Rocker has a desirable matchup and adequate betting info tonight. The Angels are tied for 20th in wRC+ (99) with a 25.9 K% versus righties and tied for 20th in wRC+ (95) with a 27.4 K% at home this season. Finally, the Rangers are -130, albeit with a slightly concerning game total of 9.0 runs.

Suggested Lineup Stacks
The Athletics lit up the scoreboard against an overmatched righty last night. They have another on the docket tonight. In Bryce Elder‘s previous four starts, he’s had a 12.64 ERA, 5.80 xFIP, 5.39 SIERA, 2.81 WHIP, 11.7 BB%, 13.8 K% and allowed 4.02 HR/9. In addition, Elder has yielded a .361 wOBA to 142 lefties and a .390 wOBA to 185 righties this season. It’s another blow-up spot for the A’s tonight.
- Home (Fenway Park)
- Game Total/Moneyline: 9.0 Runs/BOS -295
Like the A’s, the Red Sox are coming off an offensive explosion against a lousy pitcher. Boston is facing another one tonight. Among pitchers with at least 80 innings this year, Antonio Senzatela has the second-highest ERA (6.57), the highest xERA (6.59), the fourth-highest xFIP (5.00), the third-highest SIERA (5.13), the highest WHIP (1.90) and the lowest strikeout rate. The veteran righty has allowed a .408 wOBA to 228 left-handed batters and a .402 wOBA to 189 right-handed batters this year. He’s a punching bag for everyone, and the Red Sox should crush him tonight.
