Hey, friends. Welcome to my weekly fantasy baseball prospect report. The goal of this column is to give you the most fantasy-relevant prospect information throughout the last week, all in one place.

Fantasy Baseball Prospect Report

I won’t hit on every prospect every week, but will focus on the most relevant prospects throughout the week and will follow up with other notable players. This article will not focus on any AAAA-type players or veterans in the Minors who have outlived their prospect status.

NOTE: Rookie status is determined by 130 at-bats or 50 innings pitched at the Major League level. All stats are up-to-date as of Sunday, August 3rd.

MLB Pitchers

6. Chase Burns (SP – CIN)

  • 2024 College: 100 IP | 191 Ks, 30 BBs | 2.70 ERA, 0.92 WHIP
  • 2025 Minors (as of 8/3/25): 66 IP | 31.4 K-BB%, 17.7 SwStr%, 35.2% CSW | 1.77 ERA, 0.77 WHIP
  • 2025 MLB (as of 8/3/25): 28 1/3 IP | 27.1 K-BB%, 15.4 SwStr%, 29% CSW | 6.04 ERA, 1.48 WHIP
  • This Week: 7 2/3 IP | 12 Ks, 1 BBs | 4.05 ERA, 1.05 WHIP
  • Age: 21
  • ETA: Late 2025
  • fScores: 120 fStuff, 109 fControl, 134 fERA
  • Comp: Hunter Greene/Dylan Cease mash-up
  • Prime Skills: Chase Burns has an insane fastball/slider combo that could be one of the best in baseball. He’s bigger than some of the other pitchers with this type of fastball/slider combo, like Jared Jones and Spencer Strider. He could also just be a better version of Jones. The fastball ranges from 98-102 with a ton of ride running an over 19 induced vertical break (IVB), while his slider runs 87-89 as the primary swing-and-miss pitch. The curveball is also a plus-pitch.
  • Notes: Burns only pitched one inning in his last start due to a weather delay.

AAA Hitters

58. Dylan Beavers (OF – BAL)

  • 2024 AA/AAA: .242/.342/.408 | 12.8 BB%, 23.5 K% | 40 XBH, 15 HR, 31 SB
  • 2025 AAA (as of 8/3/25): .302/.418/.498 | 16.3 BB%, 17.1 K% | 29 XBH, 14 HR, 22 SB
  • This Week: 6/19 | 2 XBH, 1 HR, 2 SB
  • Age: 23
  • ETA: Late 2025
  • fScores: 102 fContact, 108 fDiscipline, 91 fPower, 173 fSpeed
  • Comp: Kyle Tucker mechanics with a Pete Crow-Armstrong skillset
  • Prime Skills: Dylan Beavers is a big lefty outfielder who killed it in the doubles department last year and is now transitioning some of that into home run power. There’s a potential 20/25 player here if he can hit enough to make it work, as the 105.6 90th percentile exit velocity and 110.3 max exit velocity portend to at least 20 home run power. The hit tool has progressed dramatically since last season, as he now has a well above-average 90.4% Z-Contact% and 83.1% Contact% with only a 20.1% chase rate.
  • Notes: There were reports that Beavers was called up right after the trade deadline, but those were false. It appears he will be up at some point this season, probably once he retains rookie eligibility for 2026.

83. Sal Stewart (2B, 3B – CIN)

  • 2024 A+: .279/.391/.454 | 14.8 BB%, 16.9 K% | 32 XBH, 8 HR, 10 SB (80 games)
  • 2025 AA/AAA (as of 8/3/25): .306/.373/.497 | 8 BB%, 14.7 K% | 39 XBH, 14 HR, 15 SB
  • This Week: 8/24 | 6 XBH, 1 HR, 1 SB
  • Age: 21
  • ETA: Mid 2026
  • fScores: N/A
  • Comp: Spencer Steer/Nicholas Castellanos mash-up with Juan Yepez mechanics
  • Prime Skills: Sal Stewart is a big prospect who should develop more power, but for now, he has a fantastic plate approach and hit tool for his age. I got a live look at him, and I think he’s going to be a stud. He might end up moving off the position because of his size. He has a good hit tool (81% contact rate), great plate skills and low 20s home run power potential.
  • Notes: Stewart is a doubles machine. He could also get the call-up after the rookie eligibility deadline (August 15).

100. Jhostynxon Garcia (OF – BOS)

  • 2024 A/A+/AA: .286/.356/.536 | 7.2 BB% / 21.6 K% | 52 XBH, 23 HR, 17 SB
  • 2025 AAA: .284/.362/.505 | 10.5 BB%, 25.2 K% | 35 XBH, 17 HR, 4 SB
  • This Week: 9/27 | 7 XBH, 3 HR, 0 SB
  • Age: 22
  • ETA: Early 2026
  • fScores: 99 fContact, 74 fDiscipline, 104 fPower, 105 fSpeed
  • Comp: Manny Ramirez mechanics with a Spencer Steer profile
  • Prime Skills: Already nicknamed The Password, Jhostynxon Garcia is a better version of Isaac Paredes as a hitter, rocking an over 46% fly ball rate and 46% pull rate, equaling a near 30% HR/FB rate last season. He has an odd, subpar contact profile with a 78.5% contact rate and a 77.8% Z-contact%, so his contact rate is higher on pitches outside of the zone. Very strange. Garcia hits the ball hard consistently with a 90.6 average exit velocity, but a 109.2 max exit velocity caps his homer potential in the low 20s.
  • Player Notes: Garcia has been hot the last few weeks, hitting .338/.382/.606 since July 5th.

Joe Mack (C – MIA)

  • Season: .265/.341/.458 | 9.2 BB% / 26.6 K% | 32 XBH, 13 HR, 6 SB
  • This Week: 7/19 | 4 XBH, 2 HR, 0 SB
  • Notes: Joe Mack has a future as a solid, but not elite starting catcher.

Nick Schnell (OF – WSH)

  • Season: .296/.348/.550 | 7 BB% / 29 K% | 44 XBH, 18 HR, 18 SB
  • This Week: 11/25 | 5 XBH, 3 HR, 1 SB
  • Notes: The 25-year-old former second-rounder from the Rays is having a very strong season and could be up by the end of the year.

Cody Freeman (3B – TEX)

  • Season: .322/.370/.523 | 7.6 BB% / 9.5 K% | 37 XBH, 16 HR, 8 SB
  • This Week: 11/25 | 5 XBH, 4 HR, 0 SB
  • Notes: Cody Freeman made his major league debut last week, but was sent down and proceeded to have his best week of the season looking for the call back up.

AAA Pitchers

38. Quinn Mathews (SP – STL)

  • 2024 A/A+/AA/AAA: 143 1/3 IP | 26.8 K-BB%, 16.1 SwStr%, 32.9 CSW% | 2.76 ERA, 0.98 WHIP
  • 2025 CPX/A/AAA (as of 8/3/25): 60 IP | 8.1 K-BB%, 14.8 SwStr%, 28.1 CSW% | 3.75 ERA, 1.63 WHIP
  • This Week: 6 2/3 IP | 9 Ks, 1 BBs | 2.70 ERA, 0.90 WHIP
  • Age: 24
  • ETA: Late 2025
  • fScores: 107 fStuff, 97 fControl, 133 fERA
  • Comp: Cole Ragans-lite
  • Prime Skills: Quinn Mathews is a big college lefty with a ridiculous fastball/slider combo, a big mid-90s fastball with above average rise to it and a slider that is a swing-and-miss machine. He has elite command of these pitches and has shown himself in college to be a workhorse. He also has a curveball and a 60/65 grade change-up he didn’t even need when I saw him in Single-A ball.
  • Notes: Mathews just had his best start of the season. Hopefully, this carries forward and we see him in September.

Didier Fuentes (SP – ATL)

  • 2025 Season (MILB): 57 IP | 23.1 K-BB%, 14.9 SwStr%, 28.8 CSW% | 4.58 ERA, 1.14 WHIP
  • This Week: 11 IP | 16 Ks, 2 BBs | 0.82 ERA, 0.73 WHIP
  • Notes: The Braves called Didier Fuentes up way too early (ala AJ Smith-Shawver), as they continue to be the Angels of the East. Thankfully, it didn’t negatively impact him too much in his return to the Minors.

Hurston Waldrep (SP – ATL)

  • 2025 Season: 91 2/3 IP | 10.3 K-BB%, 11.9 SwStr%, 28.4 CSW% | 4.42 ERA, 1.47 WHIP
  • This Week: 7 IP | 8 Ks, 1 BBs | 0.00 ERA, 0.86 WHIP
  • Notes: Hurston Waldrep has struggled with command issues throughout his entire career, which is what led him to drop in the draft despite having some excellent stuff.

AA Hitters

7. Walker Jenkins (OF – MIN)

  • 2024 A/A+: .282/.394/.439 | 15.2 BB%, 12.8 K% | 32 XBH, 6 HR, 17 SB (82 games)
  • 2025: .294/.416/.469 | 15.7 BB%, 18.3 K% | 15 XBH, 6 HR, 11 SB (45 games)
  • This Week: 10/20 | 5 XBH, 3 HR, 2 SB
  • Age: 20
  • ETA: Mid 2026
  • fScores: N/A
  • Comp: Larry Walker
  • Prime Skills: Walker Jenkins is a big, strong lefty for his age and one of the top five pitchers from the 2023 draft class. He has a ton of pull power, but can hit for extra-base hits through all fields. Jenkins’ carrying tool thus far has been the combo of his excellent hit tool (91.7% Z-Contact rate) alongside his killer plate skills (more walks than strikeouts). He hasn’t grown into the game power yet and has been primarily a doubles hitter. He was also in the Florida Complex League for a good portion of the season, where all his games are at sea level in the muggy Fort Myers stadium – no breeze; the hottest stadium I’ve been to in my life, and when there is breeze, it’s blowing in, not out.
  • Notes: Jenkins is finally finding his power. Get ready for blast off.

36. Kevin McGonigle (2B, SS – DET)

  • 2024 A/A+: .309/.401/.452 | 14 BB%, 8.5 K% | 25 XBH, 5 HR, 22 SB (74 games)
  • 2025 Season (as of 8/325): .341/.430/.591 | 37 XBH, 9 HR, 5 SB (11 games)
  • This Week: 8/22 | 5 XBH, 1 HR, 1 SB
  • Age: 20
  • ETA: Late 2026
  • fScores: N/A
  • Comp: Chase Utley wannabe (with less power and more speed) and a bit of a Steven Kwan profile in the middle infield
  • Prime Skills: Kevin McGonigle has an insane hit tool, running only an 83% contact rate in the small sample size this year, he also has a 91% Z-Contact on the short season. It’s a small sample size, but the average exit velocity is up at 93.8, while the 90th is still below 104 and the max is under 108. Even with a large focus this offseason on building power, he may just be a doubles guy with speed.
  • Notes: McGonigle is a hitting machine, especially in the doubles department, but I’m not sure the speed we saw last year is for real. He has been caught stealing five times this year, against his five steals.

70. Carson Benge (OF – NYM)

  • 2024 College: .335/.444/.665 | 44 XBH, 18 HR, 10 SB
  • 2024 A: .273/.420/.436 | 15.9 BB%, 20.3 K% | 5 XBH, 2 HR, 3 SB
  • 2025 A+/AA (as of 8/3/25): .323/.429/.531 | 14.4 BB%, 16.8 K% | 39 XBH, 11 HR, 19 SB
  • This Week: 12/24 | 5 XBH, 4 HR, 1 SB
  • Age: 22
  • ETA: Late 2026
  • fScores: N/A
  • Comp: Evan Carter/Colton Cowser mash-up
  • Prime Skills: Carson Benge is an athletic outfielder who was a two-way player in college and hits to all fields. He’s raw since he’s transitioning from being a two-way player, but there’s a lot of upside to open up now that he’s only focusing on hitting. Benge has a good hit tool (81.3% contact rate) with a plus plate approach and a toolsy power and speed blend.
  • Notes: Benge had his biggest power week of the season as he continues to show top prospect stuff.

Aron Estrada (2B – BAL)

  • Season: .289/.371/.455 | 10.2 BB% / 16.7 K% | 29 XBH, 7 HR, 31 SB
  • This Week: 7/19 | 4 XBH, 2 HR, 1 SB
  • Notes: Aron Estrada is 20 years old and playing in Double-A. He is having a pretty underrated season to date. He was a rockstar last year and is getting no hype this year.

Abimelec Ortiz (OF – TEX)

  • Season: .250/.346/.449 | 11.4 BB% / 22.5 K% | 35 XBH, 16 HR, 3 SB
  • This Week: 11/24 | 5 XBH, 3 HR, 0 SB
  • Notes: I’ve never been a fan of Abimelec Ortiz, but he has been moved from first base to the outfield, which gives him a bit more value.

Gavin Cross (OF – KC)

  • Season: .223/.273/.373 | 6.4 BB% / 26 K% | 24 XBH, 11 HR, 12 SB
  • This Week: 7/16 | 2 XBH, 2 HR, 5 SB
  • Notes: Gavin Cross finished last season strong, so I thought he might be in line for a big 2025. Seems like I was wrong, but he did have a nice week.

AA Pitchers

60. Trey Yesavage (SP – TOR)

  • 2024 College: 93 1/3 IP | 145 Ks, 32 BBs | 2.03 ERA, 0.87 WHIP
  • 2025 A/A+/AA (as of 8/3/25): 75 2/3 IP | 31.9 K-BB%, 20.8 SwStr%, 37.2 CSW% | 2.97 ERA, 0.94 WHIP
  • This Week: 4 IP | 9 Ks, 0 BBs | 2.25 ERA, 1.00 WHIP
  • Age: 21
  • ETA: Early 2026
  • fScores: N/A
  • Comp: Righty Clayton Kershaw-lite
  • Prime Skills: Trey Yesavage is a big righty with a super over-the-top trebuchet-like delivery that throws a solid fastball, slider, cutter and change-up combo. The fastball is up from 93-95 in college to averaging 97.9 this season, while the cutter generated a 27% SwStr% in Single-A, and the change-up generated a 30.6% SwStr%. Low-A hitters had trouble with his stuff, with only a 1.4% barrel rate against.
  • Notes: The Jays have limited Yesavage to no more than 70 pitches since July as he will likely wind down the year slowly to get him ready for a 2026 debut.

Brody Hopkins (SP – TB)

  • 2025 Season: 92 IP | 13.9 K-BB%, 13.4 SwStr%, 28.7 CSW% | 3.03 ERA, 1.32 WHIP
  • This Week: 7 IP | 10 Ks, 2 BBs | 0.00 ERA, 0.71 WHIP
  • Notes: Brody Hopkins has some really good stuff, but has been inconsistent this year, either having a really good start and making my list or a bad start.

Jean Cabrera (SP – TEX)

  • 2025 Season: 102 1/3 IP | 12.1 K-BB%, 12.1 SwStr%, 27.5 CSW% | 3.61 ERA, 1.20 WHIP
  • This Week: 5 2/3 IP | 9 Ks, 1 BBs | 3.18 ERA, 0.71 WHIP
  • Notes: Jose Cabrera has had a bit of a down year compared to 2024, as his stuff has ticked down since being promoted to Double-A last season, where it hasn’t translated, but he did have a nice start this week, so maybe this is the start of a turnaround.

Fantasy Baseball Trade Chart

A+ Hitters

51. Colt Emerson (2B, SS – SEA)

  • 2024 A/A+: .263/.393/.376 | 14.9 BB%, 17.3 K% | 22 XBH, 4 HR, 15 SB
  • 2025 A+ (as of 5/25/25): .261/.366/.382 | 12.9 BB%, 17.2 K% | 10 XBH, 3 HR, 2 SB
  • This Week: 6/16 | 4 XBH, 3 HR, 0 SB
  • Age: 19
  • ETA: Late 2026
  • fScores: N/A
  • Comp: Bigger Brendan Donovan with more natural talent and athleticism
  • Prime Skills: Colt Emerson has a great hit tool for his age and plate skills for a big lefty who is still developing; also has some solid wheels. He was playing Single-A ball as a 17-year-old and is skinny with a ton of room to build on his frame for power as he moves up levels. Right now, he’s all doubles power (led the Arizona Fall League with nine doubles). Has time to develop that into homer power (which is easier said than done when Seattle is your home park). The hit tool is plus, though (50/60 grade), with an 80.9% contact rate.

Austin Overn (OF – BAL)

  • Season: .242/.367/.386 | 15.5 BB% / 28.2 K% | 20 XBH, 8 HR, 43 SB
  • This Week: 9/22 | 5 XBH, 4 HR, 5 SB
  • Notes: Austin Overn has a Jakob Marsee-like profile, but the power this week is interesting when you pair it with his speed profile and batting eye.

Luis Suisbel (3B – SEA)

  • Season: .231/.330/.449 | 10.4 BB% / 25.3 K% | 32 XBH, 18 HR, 4 SB
  • This Week: 5/21 | 5 XBH, 4 HR, 0 SB
  • Notes: Luis Suisbel has a nice power outlook, and it should be noted he only has a .264 batting average on balls in play (BABIP) on the year, so he’s run into some bad luck.

Jakob Christian (OF – SF)

  • Season: .270/.353/.469 | 9.9 BB% / 28.9 K% | 37 XBH, 12 HR, 14 SB
  • This Week: 7/20 | 5 XBH, 2 HR, 2 SB
  • Notes: Jakob Christian reminds me of your classic, big toolsy Astros-type prospect with a terrible hit tool but power and speed. However, the tools and extra-base hit ability are worth watching moving forward.

Edgar Alvarez (1B – CHC)

  • Season: .271/.368/.411 | 12.6 BB% / 21.3 K% | 24 XBH, 6 HR, 8 SB
  • This Week: 8/16 | 4 XBH, 2 HR, 1 SB
  • Notes: Edgar Alvarez is way older for the level, but he has shown a solid hit tool and might be a back-end 40 guy in a year or two.

A+ Pitchers

137. Owen Murphy (SP – ATL)

  • 2024 A+: 41 IP | 31 K-BB%, 13.7 SwStr%, 31.9 CSW% | 1.54 ERA, 0.73 WHIP
  • This Week: 3 1/3 IP | 8 Ks, 0 BBs | 0.00 ERA, 0.60 WHIP
  • Age: 21
  • ETA: Late 2026
  • fScores: N/A
  • Comp: Bryce Miller
  • Prime Skills:  Owen Murphy is a former first-rounder who has a ridiculous fastball (up to 22-inch inverted vertical break on it). The fastball runs in the mid-90s and has some nice ride to it. He’s good and pounding it into the top of the zone. He also has upside of 60 grades on his slider and curve. He throws a curve against a 12/6 slider. It would be a killer if he could add a sweeper to the arsenal or something with more horizontal movement.
  • Notes: I love Murphy, and now is the time to add him sneakily before he blows up in the offseason — it will happen. This was his first game past the Florida Complex League (FCL) post-Tommy John surgery, and he already made the list.

T.J. Nichols (SP – TB)

  • 2025 Season: 96 2/3 IP | 25 K-BB%, 11.7 SwStr%, 24.7 CSW% | 2.37 ERA, 1.06 WHIP
  • This Week: 5 IP | 8 Ks, 0 BBs | 7.20 ERA, 1.20 WHIP
  • Notes: I don’t much care about ERA in the Minors for pitchers, but eight strikeouts with zero walks will play despite the earned runs. T.J. Nichols has made this list a few times this season. He has elite command and excellent swing and miss stuff.

Gage Stanifer (SP – TOR)

  • 2025 Season: 74 IP | 23.6 K-BB%, 15.8 SwStr%, 31.9 CSW% | 2.92 ERA, 1.18 WHIP
  • This Week: 9 IP (2 starts) | 12 Ks, 5 BBs | 1.00 ERA, 1.00 WHIP
  • Notes: Gage Stanifer is a pop-up name this year, who was terrible last season as a former 19th-rounder, but has been amazing so far in 2025.

Jurrangelo Cijntje (SP – SEA)

  • 2025 Season: 74 2/3 IP | 15.3 K-BB%, 12.6 SwStr%, 27.2 CSW% | 4.58 ERA, 1.19 WHIP
  • This Week: 5 2/3 IP | 10 Ks, 1 BBs | 6.35 ERA, 0.88 WHIP
  • Notes: Jurrangelo Cijntje is the switch-pitching pitcher the Mariners picked in the first round last year. He just had his best start of the season.

Marcus Johnson (SP – TB)

  • 2025 Season: 109 IP | 20 K-BB%, 12.9 SwStr%, 26.6 CSW% | 4.87 ERA, 1.26 WHIP
  • This Week: 6 IP | 10 Ks, 1 BBs | 6.00 ERA, 1.17 WHIP
  • Notes: Marcus Johnson is rocking a 2.2% walk rate on the season with only 10 walks allowed.

Blake Aita (SP – BOS)

  • 2025 Season: 92 2/3 IP | 17.4 K-BB%, 12.7 SwStr%, 28.1 CSW% | 3.59 ERA, 1.00 WHIP
  • This Week: 6 1/3 IP | 8 Ks, 1 BBs | 2.84 ERA, 0.95 WHIP
  • Notes: Blake Aita has been solid since being drafted last season actually generating more swing and miss as the season has gone on.

A Hitters

124. Tyson Lewis (SS – CIN)

  • 2025 CPX/A: .357/.429/.524 | 8.2 BB%, 18.4 K% | 3 XBH, 1 HR, 8 SB (11 games)
  • This Week: 9/26 | 4 XBH, 0 HR, 3 SB
  • Age: 19
  • ETA: 2028
  • fScores: N/A
  • Comp: Gunnar Henderson-lite with worse plate skills
  • Prime Skills: Tyson Lewis is an athletic freak that we have heard a lot about from everyone out in Arizona, especially after some monster exit velocities he has put up with a 119.4 max exit velocity. At 6-foot-2, 195 pounds, he has a similar build to a lefty Arjun Nimmala and potentially greater upside if he can keep cranking out exit velocities as high as his max. He has a powerful lefty swing with great wheels, but the hit tool (70% contact rate) and plate skills (15.8% SwStr%) grade out as slightly below average.
  • Notes: Lewis has had a successful transition to Low-A from the FCL through nine games, showing power and speed. I hope to get eyes on him before the end of the year.

Jaron Elkins (OF – LAD)

  • Season: .272/.346/.442 | 7.8 BB% / 29.9 K% | 40 XBH, 9 HR, 56 SB
  • This Week: 9/28 | 5 XBH, 1 HR, 5 SB
  • Notes: Every week, we have a new Dodgers prospect on this list. This week it’s Jaron Elkins.

Robert Hipwell (OF – SF)

  • Season: .257/.404/.510 | 17.6 BB% / 30.5 K% | 37 XBH, 11 HR, 3 SB
  • This Week: 9/18 | 7 XBH, 2 HR, 0 SB
  • Notes: Robert Hipwell has some nice stats, but he’s also a 22-year-old repeating Low-A. He had a nice week, though.

Randy Guzman (OF – NYM)

  • Season: .287/.371/.500 | 8.5 BB% / 16.4 K% | 22 XBH, 9 HR, 1 SB
  • This Week: 9/24 | 5 XBH, 1 HR, 1 SB
  • Notes: Randy Guzman is a big corner infielder who has shown a much-improved hit tool at Low-A and is a name to watch.

Justin Gonzales (OF – BOS)

  • Season: .284/.371/.399 | 10.4 BB% / 15.4 K% | 20 XBH, 3 HR, 10 SB
  • This Week: 11/24 | 5 XBH, 1 HR, 0 SB
  • Notes: Justin Gonzales is a big 6-foot-4, 210-pound 18-year-old international player who made his Low-A debut this year from the Dominican Summer League (DSL) last year. He has a plus hit tool and a plus plate approach. If he can get into some power, he could be an interesting name to watch moving forward.

A Pitchers

113. Cam Caminiti (SP – ATL)

  • 2024 A: 3 IP | 4 Ks, 0 BBs | 3.00 ERA, 1.00 WHIP
  • 2025 CPX/A: 44 IP | 23 K-BB%, 13.7 SwStr%, 31.3 SwStr% | 3.89 ERA, 1.30 WHIP
  • This Week: 4 IP | 7 Ks, 1 BBs | 0.00 ERA, 1.25 WHIP
  • Age: 18
  • ETA: 2028
  • fScores: N/A
  • Comp: A raw MacKenzie Gore with more wiry mechanics
  • Prime Skills: Cam Caminiti has an athletic build at 6-foot-2 and 195 pounds with a mid-to-upper 90s fastball from the left side, but inconsistent secondaries between a slider, change-up and curveball.
  • Notes: Caminiti has been kept on a strict pitch count this season, but has been great in his small sample sizes.

Eliazar Dishmey (SP – MIA)

  • 2025 Season: 74 2/3 IP | 10.9 K-BB%, 10.7 SwStr%, 26.9 CSW% | 3.13 ERA, 1.21 WHIP
  • This Week: 5 IP | 10 Ks, 0 BBs | 0.00 ERA, 0.60 WHIP
  • Notes: I profiled Eliazar Dishmey when I saw him live last week, and he followed it up with an even better start.

Yhoiker Fajardo (SP – TB)

  • 2025 Season: 51 IP | 17.1 K-BB%, 14.5 SwStr%, 32.6 CSW% | 2.29 ERA, 1.04 WHIP
  • This Week: 5 2/3 IP | 8 Ks, 0 BBs | 0.00 ERA, 0.18 WHIP
  • Notes: Yhoiker Fajardo is interesting as he’s posting killer swinging strike rates, but not racking up the strikeouts, while his command has improved.

Johnny King (SP – TOR)

  • 2025 Season: 45 IP | 29.2 K-BB%, 18.4 SwStr%, 35.9 CSW% | 1.40 ERA, 1.20 WHIP
  • This Week: 8 IP (2 starts) | 14 Ks, 5 BBs | 0.00 ERA, 1.00 WHIP
  • Notes: Johnny King has had much worse command at Low-A than at the FCL, but I think this is more a result of small sample size than anything else after seeing him live. He seemed to have good command, despite maybe poor control.

    DSL Hitters

Angel De Los Santos (SS – DET)

    • Season: .434/.522/.660 | 13.4 BB% / 17.9 K% | 10 XBH, 1 HR, 4 SB
    • This Week: 8/15 | 5 XBH, 1 HR, 1 SB
    • Notes: Angel De Los Santos is only 17 and has played in just 19 games in the DSL, but has shown a plus hit tool and plate approach, especially for the DSL.

    Marconi German (SS – WSH)

    • Season: .282/.485/.538 | 20.4 BB% / 18.6 K% | 15 XBH, 7 HR, 24 SB
    • This Week: 5/13 | 3 XBH, 1 HR, 6 SB
    • Notes: Marconi German racked up a ton of steals this week and has shown a nice combo of power and speed as a 17-year-old switch hitter.

    Luis Cova (OF – MIA)

    • Season: .288/.418/.532 | 16 BB% / 19.1 K% | 20 XBH, 8 HR, 31 SB
    • This Week: 7/22 | 4 XBH, 2 HR, 3 SB
    • Notes: Luis Cova is beasting out as he has now made this list two weeks in a row.

    DSL Pitchers

    Jose Paulino (SP – MIA)

    • 2025 Season: 36 2/3 IP | 13.9 K-BB%, 11.7 SwStr%, 24.7 CSW% | 2.37 ERA, 1.06 WHIP
    • This Week: 4 2/3 IP | 10 Ks, 2 BBs | 0.00 ERA, 0.86 WHIP
    • Notes: Jose Paulino does have some command issues, which may be more of a problem in Low-A with the Automated Ball-Strike (ABS) challenge system, but he had a very nice week. He can get up to 98 on the fastball as an 18-year-old.
