Week 3 is here, so it’s time to build some NFL DFS cash lineups.
Remember, when playing cash games, you want to target players with a nice combination of floor and ceiling. If there is a “free square” on the board, that is: A significantly underpriced player thrust into a huge bump in usage, then you can play them without thinking about how popular they’ll be among the field.
With that in mind, read on to learn more about my favorite DFS cash game picks for Week 3. We’ll provide pricing from both FanDuel and DraftKings for these picks. I’ll keep it tight, with two picks for each position.

Week 3 NFL DFS Cash Game Advice & Picks
The players below are the ones I’m looking at for NFL DFS cash game considerations this week.
Quarterbacks
Dak Prescott is in a great spot in a projected shootout against the Bears, as reflected in the 50-point game total. We just watched the Bears get picked apart by Jared Goff, so don’t be surprised to see a Prescott spike week, especially with how pass-heavy the Cowboys can be.
Carson Wentz takes over for the injured J.J. McCarthy. This is a great punt play at quarterback, especially on DraftKings ($4,000). While Wentz is a backup for a reason, we all know how Kevin O’Connell can bring out the best in his signal-callers.
Running Backs
Paying up for an elite running back like Bijan Robinson feels like a wise move. Not only is it a smash spot against the Panthers, who were gashed by Travis Etienne earlier this season, but there’s also a free square for salary relief for your RB2.
Jordan Mason takes over as the Vikings’ bell-cow back with Aaron Jones sidelined. You’re getting a great deal at a sub-$6,000 price tag on both platforms, especially since the game could turn into a shootout at home against the Bengals.
Wide Receivers
Tetairoa McMillan is coming off a 100-yard game against the Cardinals. The first-round rookie has looked like an alpha No. 1 WR so far this season. This is a great spot at home against the Falcons, especially with top corner A.J. Terrell unlikely to play.
Elic Ayomanor has earned targets at a high rate in his first two career games. Each of those matchups was against tough defenses like the Broncos and Rams. This time, it’s a much easier spot at home versus the Colts. We could see Ayomanor’s best game of his career here.
Tight Ends
Juwan Johnson continues to see heavy usage for a Saints offense that has been quite fantasy-friendly due to its fast pace with head coach Kellen Moore. At the current price point, it’s hard to get away from Johnson given what we’ve seen from him so far this year.
Jake Ferguson is an alternative option at tight end, where you can get a piece of a potential shootout against the Bears. We’ve seen Ferguson rack up 14 targets in two games, including nine against the Giants last week, so the floor is there for cash games.
