Week 4 NFL DFS Cash Game Advice & Picks
The players below are the ones I’m looking at for NFL DFS cash game considerations this week.
Quarterbacks
Caleb Williams is a great price on DraftKings, but he’s a bit expensive on FanDuel. Even with that, I’m still fine with riding the Bears quarterback on either platform. We’ve seen Williams put up 24.2, 18 and 29.1 fantasy points so far this year. Up next is a projected shootout versus the Raiders, as highlighted by the 47.5-point total.
Jaxson Dart (QB – NYG) vs. LAC | DraftKings: $4,500/FanDuel: $6,000
Jaxson Dart is a punt play at quarterback, where you’re betting on rushing upside keeping his fantasy value afloat, even in a tough matchup against the Chargers. This is a signal-caller who plays a fantasy-friendly game, featuring designed quarterback runs and a willingness to throw the ball downfield. Don’t be afraid to pair Dart with Malik Nabers.
Running Backs
Omarion Hampton had a breakout game against the Broncos last week, putting up 129 total yards and a touchdown. With Najee Harris out for the season, Hampton is entrenched as the bell-cow back for the Chargers. Up next is an exploitable matchup against a Giants defense that has been gashed on the ground by Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Javonte Williams.
Cam Skattebo is another Giants skill player who plays a fantasy-friendly game. His tackle-breaking ability makes him ideal for the red zone, while the receiving upside gives him a high ceiling. We’ve seen Skattebo put up 121 total yards last week, where he caught 6-of-8 targets. Simply put, he’s too cheap for that kind of usage.
Wide Receivers
Drake London has been a disappointment so far this season, limited to fewer than 60 yards in each of his three games. That’s exactly why we’re playing him here, as it’s a buy-low spot against the Commanders, especially on DraftKings, where he’s only $5,700. London was a first-round pick in some leagues for good reason. He is an alpha No. 1 WR with elite target-earning ability.
Chris Olave (WR – NO) at BUF | DraftKings: $5,100/FanDuel: $6,000
Chris Olave has been absolutely peppered with targets for the Saints so far, with 37 in three games, including 14 against the Seahawks last week. While the big plays haven’t been there, new head coach Kellen Moore is getting layup looks for Olave, making him especially enticing in full PPR formats, like DraftKings. With the Saints playing from behind as 15-point underdogs versus the Bills, Olave looks like a safe play.
Tight Ends
Tyler Warren has had an impressive start to his NFL career, hauling in 14 out of 21 targets for 193 yards. This is a rookie tight end who has put up 75+ yards in two of his three games, making him an intriguing option in a projected shootout against the Rams. Expect the Colts to be forced to air it out a bit more as they play from behind.
Harold Fannin Jr is coming off a down game against the Packers, but that was against a tough defense. Now, in an indoor game environment against the Lions, we could see a higher scoring result, meaning more opportunities for Fannin. The Lions just allowed Mark Andrews to have a huge game, so perhaps another tight end like Fannin can make big plays against them.
