Week 7 of the 2025 NFL season is in the books. Hopefully, your team pulled out the victory. However, the only easy win was last week’s win. So, let’s look at the top fantasy football streaming quarterback options for Week 8.

Fantasy Football Quarterback Streamers & Waiver Wire Targets

All the quarterbacks in this article are rostered in under 50% of ESPN leagues.

Jaxson Dart (NYG) vs. Philadelphia Eagles (43.3% Rostered)

Many fantasy players were afraid to start Dart last week because of the matchup against the Denver Broncos. Yet, the former Ole Miss star had the best performance of his career, totaling 283 passing yards, three touchdowns, and 28.4 fantasy points. Furthermore, he finished Week 7 as a top six quarterback despite having only 11 rushing yards, his fewest total as the Giants’ starter. Dart has moved into the weekly must-consider starting quarterback conversation regardless of the matchup. Meanwhile, he has top-five upside this week in a rematch against Philadelphia.

Two weeks ago, Dart completed 68% of his pass attempts for 195 yards, a touchdown, 13 rushing attempts for 58 yards and a touchdown against the Eagles, scoring 23.6 fantasy points. Philadelphia has struggled to slow down opposing passing attacks since Week 1, surrendering 237 passing yards, 1.2 touchdowns, and 17.9 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. They gave up at least 240 passing yards, two touchdowns, or 17.9 fantasy points in all but two of those contests. Dart is a borderline must-start quarterback with six teams on a bye.

Aaron Rodgers (PIT) vs. Green Bay Packers (27.6% Rostered)

Everyone loves a revenge game, especially Rodgers. The veteran completed 73.3% of his pass attempts for 244 yards, four touchdowns, and 25.7 fantasy points in Week 1 against the New York Jets. Last week, he was outstanding against the Cincinnati Bengals, completing 67.6% of his pass attempts for 249 yards, four touchdowns, and 22.6 fantasy points. Rodgers has played well since the bye week, averaging 242 passing yards, three touchdowns, and 20 fantasy points per game, totaling at least two scores and 17.5 or more fantasy points in every contest.

Therefore, fantasy players should have high expectations for the future Hall of Famer as he faces his former team on Sunday night. The Packers’ defense has struggled to slow down opposing passing attacks other than the Cleveland Browns this season. In their other four contest since Week 1, Green Bay has surrendered 254.3 passing yards, 2.3 touchdowns, and 22.3 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks, giving up at least two scores and 18.8 fantasy points in every outing. Rodgers should put up similar or better numbers against his former team.

FantasyPros Are They Playing Tool

Carson Wentz (MIN) vs. Los Angeles Chargers (5.6% Rostered)

While J.J. McCarthy could start on Thursday, fantasy players should expect another game with Wentz under center, especially with the Vikings traveling to Los Angeles on a short week. The veteran had some positive plays last week but only scored 11.3 fantasy points and zero touchdowns against the Philadelphia Eagles. However, he had played well in his other three starts this year, averaging 253 passing yards, 1.7 touchdowns, and 17.1 fantasy points per game, totaling 14.7 or more in every outing. Meanwhile, Wentz has a fantasy-friendly matchup on Thursday night.

Los Angeles held quarterbacks to 14.4 fantasy points per game over the first six weeks, the seventh-fewest in the NFL. However, they’ve surrendered 16.5 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks over the past month, allowing 17.1 or more in all but the matchup against the Miami Dolphins. Furthermore, Daniel Jones had his way with the Chargers last week, totaling 288 passing yards, two touchdown, and 22.2 fantasy points despite having only seven rushing yards. Wentz is a solid QB2 option, especially with six teams on a bye in Week 8.

Joe Flacco (CIN) vs. New York Jets (4.9% Rostered)

Welcome back from the fantasy graveyard Mr. Flacco. The veteran was awful during his four games with the Cleveland Browns, averaging only 203.8 passing yards, 0.5 touchdowns, and 6.5 fantasy points. However, he has been outstanding since getting traded to the Bengals, completing 65.2% of his pass attempts for 280.5 yards, 2.5 touchdowns, and 22.4 fantasy points per game, totaling at least two scores and 18.8 fantasy points in both contests despite facing two talented defenses. Meanwhile, Flacco is an appealing streaming option for the next two weeks.

The veteran starts his excellent two week stretch against his former team. Last week, the duo of Bryce Young and Andy Dalton had 198 passing yards and 12.7 fantasy points against the Jets. However, New York had surrendered 207.5 passing yards, two touchdowns, and 18.9 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks over the first six weeks, allowing the eighth-most fantasy points per contest. Don’t be surprised if Flacco has at least three passing touchdowns and over 22 fantasy points in Week 8 and in Week 9 against the Chicago Bears.
