Players to Buy Low & Sell High in Week 7
Buy Low
Travis Etienne Jr. (RB – JAC)
“Travis Etienne is my buy-low candidate of the week. Over the last couple of weeks, he has put up underwhelming box scores that do not reflect his role as a true workhorse back in the Jags’ offense. He continues to command a large snap count and remains their undisputed lead back. The recent dip in production opens a brief window to trade for a back with volume, a rare beast these days. Grab a bargain, go and get yourself a low-end RB1/high-end RB2 for the rest of the season at a cut price.”

Javonte Williams (RB – DAL)
“Javonte Williams had a disappointing Week 6 with 29 yards rushing and five yards receiving in a game where Dallas put up 27 points. Many owners are still sleeping on him even though he is the RB4 in half-PPR this year. He has three top-four or better finishes this year and is the lead back on a high-powered offense. Carolina has a decent run defense, which would explain the down week. Grab Williams before he has the bounce back and his value increases. Offer owners down on him package deals that include players who had spike weeks and are soon to be in committees, like Rico Dowdle, or players filling in for an injured running back, including Kimani Vidal, Zonovan Knight or Rachaad White.”

Sell High
Kendrick Bourne (WR – SF)
“Kendrick Bourne’s big Week 6 (five catches for 142 yards, with numbers slightly inflated by two deep shots) creates the perfect sell-high opportunity. While his chemistry with Mac Jones is real, his recent spike in production is a direct result of a severely depleted receiver room. The impending return of key 49ers target-hogs, George Kittle and Ricky Pearsall, will immediately halt Bourne’s recent surge in production. If you can, trade him now to capitalise on his unsustainable WR1 production before the 49ers’ weapons return, and he becomes fantasy irrelevant. It’s only a small window, but now is the time to try and sell high if you can.”
